In case you do not have claustrophobia it is a great experience to get inside this unique cave system. The guides are very good, there is even a place to have a tea outside.

It's the second longest cave in Bulgaria and is located at 11 km Eastern from the town of Dve Mogili. Paths inside are well lighted and easy to walk through. Since 1963 it is a natural landmark and since 1978 it is an archaeological cultural monument with national importance.The total length of the galleries is more than 13 500 km. This makes the cave the second longest cave in Bulgaria, after Duhlata Cave.In the cave galleries there are a lot of scenes of stone faeries, as if they were made by magicians, who were very imaginative. Stalactites, stalagmites and stalaktones, made of billions of water drops during thousands of years are the main columns of this architecture not made by human hand. When you knock on the Singing stalaktone, you can hear sounds as if they are from a musical instrument. There is a rest-house near the cave. It is a massive building with two floors, water-supplied and electrified, which can hold 27 people. There is a kitchen and a dining room with fireplace, outer toilets, inner and outer fountains and bathrooms. The countryside is covered with coniferous forests and pretty glades. It gives excellent conditions for rock climbing, orientation, green schools, archery, horse-riding, interesting eco-paths, etc. Next to it there is a bar and a terrace with 70 places.The place around is wonderful for picknick/BBQ :)

The cave is quite interesting, but our guide spoke very little English. Unless you speak Bulgarian, you won't understand a thing. It's worth a short visit if you're in the area.

I visited twice this cave and may be I will do that more. The visit is well organized, but you have to check the working time. There are guided tours in bulgarian language, you can enter in the cave only with the guide . Fantastic trip,excellent guide speaking french...the view of the valley from the entrance of the cave is unique....Of course the cave is fantastic.

Although hard to access without a car (the only way is 5 km walk from the small railway station Tabachka), it is worth of visiting this cave. The cave is open between April and October (inclusive), but no matter what time of the year you visit, the temperature is always 13-14 degrees Celsius. There are several halls which are accessible and lightened, and you can see 5 types of bats there. You can hear a very good acoustic in some of those halls as well. If you feel like a touristic person, there is a small hut nearby the cave which you can use for a bagpack sleep. The name of the cave means "Eagle's peak" because year ago its entrance had eagle's nest on the top.

Очень красивое живописное место, чистый воздух, панорамный вид. Сама пещера очень большая, все посмотреть не удалось, но и этого было достаточно- очень интересно побывать в таких местах! На поляне и в прилеске можно поставить палатки . Очень советую- прекрасный отдых для всей семьи!!!

Eine schöne Tropfsteinhöhle, leider nur mit Auto zu erreichen. Umwerfende Umgebung mit Felsen und Wald.
