Done the 'basic' package and added the Dragunov sniper rifle. Taxi to the location was around 6000 HUF one way (around £15). Staff were very informative and helpful, felt very safe in a new environment. Staff there also kindly called us cab back to the city centre. Thoroughly enjoyed it

The weapons were functional but the instructors were rude and the shells were flying throughout the hole room. Not again

I was useless with the AK-47 but nailed it with the hand guns and remington 12 guage. DOn't bother getting a taxi, it's so easy and much less expensive with public transport and it only takes about 15 minutes longer. Take tram 2 and then the H6 train It's easy.My instructor, Peter, was excellent. Even the instructional dvd was fun. I went for the basic package because I was on a very tight schedule and was leaving that afternoon. I added the walther pp7. When I go bakc to Budapest I am definietely going for some of the other packages. This was brilliant. Definitely worth doing - you could never do this in the UK.

Celeritas Shooting Club was one of the highlights of our stay in Budapest. The session starts with a brief DVD tutorial which basically warns you against shooting yourself and tells you how to aim and fire. The instructors load all the ammunition for you and stay by your side 1 on 1 throughout. I really enjoyed doing something I would never be able to do back in the uk, it was definitely a memorable experience.

this was an awesome experience to enjoy. I have always loved the history of world war 2 and to get the chance to fire the weapons that were used in this was on my bucket list. the location was great a taxi ride for about twenty minutes and you are there. the instructors were so excellent and so friendly and helpful. the whole experience is one i will never forget and will go back again when i am in Budapest

Great fun. We chose the "Greatest Hits" package and added a Dragonov sniper rifle. Me and my male companion were put in a group with 3 others (guys) who, were shooting the same package. In the other side of the room, 5 others were shooting Basic and Gamer packages. Each group had an instructor. First (well, after signing the "behave yourself papers") we saw an instructional movie (very funny) and had additional instructions from the friendly and professional instructors - who by the way, carry side arms, so don't get any ideas ;). First each person shot 2 light target guns and then 6 larger and larger and larger guns and then the 4 rifles (extra buys was at the very end). This I personally thought was a little hard, as my girl-arms found it very difficult to aim the S&W .44 Magnum after having just emptied 5 other guns… And most of the guys also spread their marks more and more during the 6-gun stint… I would prefer rotating after each weapon.This being said, I would go back and do the whole thing again - it was a lot of fun and it also felt like a safe and well-organized event.

if you read a few of the other review's you are probably worried by its location. Dont be. I found the staff to be very helpful and they will book a taxi you can trust for a fixed price. So my first bit of advice is to communicate with them. Dont turn up thinking this is going to be like going to a fair or something, you are firing LIVE ammunition and safety is the focus of the instructor's. They are watchful and respectful. My experience was excellent. My wife and I had bought two VIP packages. It was too much for her so she went out of the range after she had fired all the handgun's. The instructor allowed me to fire her round's. She was well looked after in reception. The whole experience is amazing. If you have never fired a gun it is very emotional. You get to keep your targets and take photo's all the time you are there. I plan to go again.

Prior to going here, I had only shot a gun once in my life. I have, however, played a whole lot of video games, so the idea of shooting some interesting guns in a controlled environment seemed like a lot fun. I came here with a friend of mine who lives in Budapest, and she and I had an absolutely great time.We went for the "greatest hits" package, and I added a Dragunov to the package, as I knew it would be my only chance to ever fire a sniper rifle. Keep in mind that you need to make a reservation in advance, and this is definitely a taxi ride away from the city center. Upon arrival, we watched a video on safety and instructions. After that, we were introduced to the guns that we'd be shooting by our instructor. He was straight to the point and didn't mess around. We first shot smaller pistols, then larger pistols, then assault rifles, and then the sniper rifle. It was really interesting, and was quite an experience. I wouldn't need to do it everyday, but I'm glad I did it.Very unique experience, and run well and safely. A bit expensive, but worth the money.

My girlfriend and me tried it out, and we won't forget! It was awesome, even my girlfried liked it a lot :D The staff was friendly and helped us with everithing. And don't forget you can pick additional guns beside the 'package', just browse the armoury online.

we went on the 17th of jan. to spice up our ordinary weekends! arrived in front of the building...left,right,left right...then some stairs and u get to a securized door...u pass it and then a girl gonna give u some papers to sign, protection glasses and headphones...then our guy came and took us from the "reception " -its quite cold in there so leave your jacket on! we choosed Black ops, but we were with another couple who choosed greatest hits,and a group of foreigners who choosed the gamer-need to say that i was the only girl from 3 who wanted to shut...so,girls try them out! really amazing experience-no bruzes,even some of the rifles were more then my half body,and were powerful(the made me move a little everytime i shot )-anyway, we could see other guns at the beginer presentation,except ours ,so i think that was cool,cuz we were all together in the same room. After the live presentation,comes the tv one, safe instructions...then comes the fun!!! we were in 2 parts divided, 2 instructors were taking care to use the guns properly...after the small guns,comes the live and recorded presentation of the big ones,every time u can take your paper target(small guns,big guns) as a reminder...all i can say...i'll do it again,and again,and again!!! enjoy!!!

If you have never held a gun in your hands, this would be an awesome place - with all sorts of different weapons, well trained supervisors. There is nothing to be afraid of in the hands of these great professionals.

booked myself in for the "shoot em' all" package and it did not disappoint!! one of the best days out ive had. staff are well educated on the guns and know how to be strict but friendly at the same time, top notch guys. as a sole traveler i was put in with others (french and brazilian) and everybody seemed to enjoy it more than they expected to.would highly recommend this for anybody visiting Budapest

We went here on our last day (Monday) booked for 12 very well organised and strict which I suppose you have to with guns. No corners cut very safe my girlfriend and I started with the hand guns we went for the greatest hits package but you can buy additional guns if you want. Lots and lots of fun I recommend this to anyone especially the machine guns at the end, AK-47 etc all the top guns and good competition between me and the girlfriend as you have to aim at the paper targets. A must in Budapest

I booked this as a birthday pressie for my best friends husband during our weekend in Budapest, and I joined him (my friend couldn't do it as she had hurt her arm). He absolutely loved it! The set up is very professional and we chose the Greatest Hits package which gave a good selection of hand guns and rifles. As a bit of a woosy girl, I have to say I was a bit nervous and am not sure I would do it again, as I found the guns heavy to handle and have a large bruise on my shoulder from the recoil of the pump action shotgun. But glad I did it and for any guys and girls who are up for something different would recommend this.

My boyfriend booked the 'shoot em all' package for our trip to Budapest and I was quite nervous, but I can honestly say it was absolutely ace.The staff are very friendly and professional, you are clearly shown safe operating instructions and given safety equipment and you are genuinely encouraged to enjoy the experience.We had such a laugh and we took photos and videos of each other shooting all kinds of mega weapons.I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who has ever watched an action movie and thought "I would love a go at that!"Thanks for a great day out!
