This is one of the best aqua park in Balkan region. The amusement that you will get there is on the highest level. Also the medical part is very good,I truthfully recommend this place with dignity.
In August 2014 I took my Girlfriend, her 10 Year Old Daughter and 2 Year Old Son swimming on a basic ticket, which cost a total of 11,050 HUF (son was free), and must say we really enjoyed the day out. There was plenty to keep everyone very happy regardless of age and the tickets were value for money too. We went on a week day in August, when it was less busy, and only had to wait around 5 Minutes for the Anaconda slide and around a minute or so for the other slides. The pools themselves were not crowded, to our surprise, so we enjoyed a length's swim of each pool more or less when we wanted.Napfényfürdõ Aquapolis is located on the left -side of the Belvárosi híd (Downtown Bridge) coming from the city centre (Széchenyi tér). You can actually see some of the outdoor swimming pools from the foot of the bridge. Buses #5 and #7 go over the bridge and stop at Torontál Tér, one stop from the bridge. This means you have to head back towards the foot of the bridge in order to walk down the side of it, on Közép Kikötő sor. This goes down hill until you reach Üdülők. There you will see the front entrance of Napfényfürdõ Aquapolis.
The pools are big, there are loads of slides and those jacuzzi type things. The pools aren't deeper than 1.3m so they're great for families with children. All in all it's a fantastic way to spend a holiday!
Napfényfürdő Aquapolis is situated on the banks of river Tisza and 5 minute walk near to Szeged historical center. Free parking can be found on the streets around [be aware of the “no parking signs as you may risk a hefty fine] or paid in the underground parking nearby. There are several outdoor and indoor pools but the real buzz for children of all ages are the inside waterslides, the icing of the cake being the two tower slides, one of the longest in Europe…it takes a full one minute and a half to go all the way down. Try the yellow one first… There are smaller pools too for young children too.For those old enough or lazy enough who just want to sit in the 32-40 C0 water there is plenty [not] to do too, with several “lazy river” and countless pressure water tubs and hydro-massaging installations to enjoy. Going in winter months is way more fun as the experience of swimming at temperatures well below 0 C0 is something to remember. There is a “private spa” aria, with Roman baths, saunas aromatherapy baths, and cold water poos alongside hot water Jacuzzi just to sit and relax as well as reflexotherapy and massage facilities.Food and beverage are available on the premises so one could have a quick and unassuming lunch without leaving the place. Staff is friendly and tries to be helpful but be aware that only a few understand English or German.
Really love Aquapolis. We have been there 3 times. Last time we didn't stay in the hotel just went for a day of fun in Aquapolis. The only remark is why it is only 3 hours of silent wellness :( it should be more. This facility is the best to visit in spring or autumn (although i have never been in wintertime). Summer is to crowded and not to my taste.
We go here often, in the sumertime for the outdoor activity but in wintertime aswell for the welness. The outdoor pool is quite big and has clear water, not medicinal and this is a big plus for families with children with ages under 14 because they can be with you all the way. There is also a small medicinal area with temperatures up to 40 degrees where children are not allowed.A couple of slides and play area make an average outing into an extraordinary one. There is only one dry sauna though..and this is in the ticket price.Quite recently i found out that they have an amaising sauna world complex for an extra charge that is in the 4 star hotel nearby.Must check this out aswell ,next time.:)
I was there several times. Clear water, nice and warm, good waterslides, spa is ok, nothing special. There is also a child corner.
Come here with friends or family! Lots of watersides, pools and places to chill out. There is an indoor and outdoor area as well. Great for taking the kids while parents can enjoy the spa (sauna, massage, gym etc.). Affordable and fun.
We went here with my Auntie and Uncle, my sister and her kids (8 and 11 at the time) and we had so much fun! The slides are great for the young and old alike and there really is just so much to do you can't go and not have fun. Lots of pools and also lots of places to just sit and relax so the kids can go off and have fun while you chill out in the sun. Plus if the weather turns, there's always the indoor areas. If you get a chance you should definitely come here for a day out with the family cos you will love it.
I come here quite often, although it is at about 200 km from home, but the location and services are worth the cost. I've been to swimming pools with thermal water services, but none compare yet with this one. Here you can find something for everyone. From entertainment / slides to spa services, sauna, thermal water, massages, friendliness of staff, food and beverages, absolutely everything you need for a full day of relaxation. I highly recommend this place.
3 days spended and wanted more so great and the water was clean the pool good and the prise as well I sertenaly recomend it for all age people
What I mean about basic service? At the entrance You can a clock but You can't use it for paying in the restaurant or at the other services. Any other aquaplace where I've been (overall in EU) use this function of the clock, but here I have to go back to my cabinet and again to the restaurant (ohhh sorry, at the restaurant You can't pay with bankcard. )But overall the place is great with lot of slide's and pools. For the children there is a very bit gameroom and 2 pools.I think one of the best in Hungary! If you are in Szeged or in the near to Szeged, You have to go here!!!
I have been here lots of times, and the place deserves a review. It's just great! Lots of pools, slides, bubblers, sprinklers, saunas...basically if it uses water, it's there. :) My favorite time to come is in winter and use the outdoor thermal pool - just priceless, and after everything relax in the medical pools. Must-visit if you like water.
Newly renovated aquapark with good facilities. There are some fast and long chute, clean water and building.
The tallest and biggest aqua-park in Central-Europe. The water and the whole place is absolutelly clean and has got a really good athmosphere.
