Situated in Koszeg's main townsquare, you can't miss this pretty church which serves as the town's main feature. It was open when we visited and were able to view its beautiful interior. Definitely worth taking a little stroll to, even if you admire it from one of the benches in the square.

It is a very beautiful church from outside. Unfortunately, you can't go around in the church, because the biggest part is closed. But there are many concerts there, so you can visit the church that time. Anyway the inner paintings of the church is even more beautiful, than it seems from outside.

This neo-gothic church is a little pearl on the Hungarian-Austrian border. Colourful stained-glass windows, gothic interior decorwith unique hungarian folk flavor. If you are into design you can spend hours marveling its decoration

This is an incredibly church for a small town. Koszeg is a little known jewel on the Austrian border, and this church dominates its main square. The painted interior is beautiful and the view of the church when it is lit up in the evenings is divine.

Die Kirch liegt am Hauptplatz und hat eine beeindruckende Treppe, wie in Rom. Es eignet sich perfekt für tolle Fotos.

Die kleine ungarische Grenzstadt zu Österreich - Köszeg, auf Deutsch Güns - beherbergt ein fast unbekanntes Kulturjuwel. Auf ihrem Hauptplatz steht die Herz -Jesu-Pfarrkirche und wird unter den Schätzen der Diözese zu Szombathely aufgewiesen. Die Bauarbeiten begannen am 10. April 1892. Die Orgel der Kirche baute die berühmte österreichische Firma Rieger 1893. Das Pfauenschwanzkapitel ist das schönste und dekorativste Motiv der Kirche. Die Polikrom-Malerei im Inneren ist die Arbeit des Wieners Otto Kott, restauriert 1994 von János Csombor. Tipp: Wer sich verstärkt für Kulturhistorik interessiert, sollte mindestens eine Stunde zur Besichtigung einplanen.
