这是一个漂亮的城堡, 虽然里面的遗址维护的不是很好, 但可远眺地中海, 跟Alanya的海湾, 完美的视野, 值得前往. 我们是自技开车上去的, 售票口旁就是停车场, 相当方便.
Well, this is definitely the best place in Alanya. The view from there is simply unforgettable.First of all get a bus from the center and get on top. There is a castle there with some picturesque views. But the best part is on the way down. I suggest to go back by foot, at least half of the way. On a way down you will see some Turkish village houses. Also you will reach a platform that has a spectacular view which is even better than from the top a castle. From that platform you can easily get a bus to the center.
View from Alanya Castle is something you will never forget. It too hot in summer to go uphill on foot. But there is a bus line that takes you all the way to the top.
15 tl to enter which i thought was good value considering what british museums charge. views from the castle were amazing we got taxi to top but walked back down. visited the little market shops and resteraunts while walking back very good value .
Lovely place go with your love one see when sun go down and enjoy great view above sweet Alanya <3 On winter time it might be cold if its windy.
The Alanya castle is a set of charming ruins mounting over Alanya city. It's a bit expensive to access, and eating and shopping in the area surrounding it is also pricy, but visiting the castle is interesting and will teach you a bit of Turkish history and give you the chance to enjoy a 360 degree view of Alanya.
A nice place for one visit, has a beautiful view on night Alanya from this Castle. It's worth of seeing
The Alanya Kalesi is situated on top of a mountain which separates the two beaches of Alanya and from the top you have a stunning panoramic view of the whole area. You will immediately understand the reason for the castle being excactly there strategically. It is surrounded by long beautiful walls which are visible from far away...they made me think of the chinese walls.. We drove up with a Taxi and also took a taxi half way down to a restaurant with a wonderful view over the harbour for drinks afterwards. There is not much info over the castle when you are there, so if the history is of interest, some reading or as proposed by previous reviewers a guide is propably good. Entrance fee is 15 TL.
Nice view all around, smell of pine trees and flowers, friendly people , living there... P.S. nice and warm hand made socks! buying every time for myself, my family members and friends.
We went to the Castle and watched the sunset. A local taxi driver took us and showed us around the grounds of the castle which was lovely! Stunning views. Walkable distance from the hotel too.
Alanya castle is on top of a hill and unless you are very fit do not walk up to the castle. From Cleopatra beach near the tourism information office you can get the bus or take a taxi. We took a Taxi and discover that we can come back with a local city bus. The view from the top is magnificent and great place to take pictures. The signs will give you a bit of information about the history of the castle and the area. The walls of the old church is well preserved and it is lovely to just walk around and experience the city from the top. If you would like to discover more I agree with a previous review that you should take a local guide. Do visit even if just for the great view.
Amazing views from top.But walkways unsafe and in need of repairs. Very little info on history of castle ectWorth it for the view but don't expect much more
All to like. Incredible to imagine how it was built as the climb to it is 4 kilometers long up a very steep hill. Very imposing from the beach and town and makes a great photograph , especially in the evening. Excellent views from the castle.
i hired a taxi from the entrance of damlatas cave to the historical castle on the mountain.i was amazed when the driver Mr. ufuk told me that he needs 2 minutes to explain something to me,then he showed me the maps of the location of the castle and he told me if i just up there ,i will pay 6 $ entrance fees to see only one point of view while if i agreed to his offer which is more than one hour tour of the price of 20 USD ,he can take me to see all the hidden nice places of the castle which are nobody konws about them except the locals.i agreed to do the tour.and it was very good decision .he took me to multiple view points of the castle overlooking the sea ,the city of alanya ,the red tower , harbour and the eastern side beach.he also took me to a historical 800 years old small mosque. the best thing was this point of the wall where you throw a stone to the sea and it will come back to the rocks because of some air currents gap in this area.very weird and fantastic phenomenon.if you go there call ufuk he is a professional guide speaking english ,german and turkish languages.his email address is ankufukaly@hotmail.com
Alanya Castle, red tower has fabulous views of the bay and surrounding areas - you have to judge whether the views make the long walk up to the castle worthwhile - the catle is mainly ruins - there are two separate sites which are covered by the cost of a single ticket (15TL) - however the second site is another long trek - in both sites, the outer walls are in place and some of the original structures but there is little to maintain the interest for longer than an hour. Have to say that we cheated and hired one of the many taxis sat at the bottom of the hill - they will drive you up the hill - to both sites and bring you back - or just take you one way - walking back down is a good option!
