You move from one theatre to the next, 10 times in all, to be immersed in some wartime action. 3D glasses for 2 presentations; floors move in a couple of others. It must get young people immersed in the stories. From a non Turkish person's perspective, the use of language in particular was interesting. Go hear it for yourself, it certainly makes you think.

Slightly disappointed with limited content on display in the museum cabinetsWorth seeing the 1pm light and sound show which gives the history from the Turkish perspective. Great production to us was partially let down by the final few minutes where after all the violence and tragedy depicted , then the greatness of the leaders after the war on both sides who with great compassion actively worked towards building mutual respect and understanding, then seemed to promote current Turkish military capacity in a nationalist way. Isn't that how people got into that mess all those years ago? ..but perhaps we would feel differently if it had been our soil that had been attacked

History is written by the victors....and so this experience has a little Turkish propaganda....but they have 200,000 reasons as to why they can!Recommended if you're short on time. For us, a great summary of 3 days of walking in the steps of legends.

3D simulation centre showing the Gallipoli Campaign from both the Turkish and Allied forces sides. Really interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. Nicely compliments a Gallipoli Battlefields tour. (for this I recommend Crowded House Tours in Eceabat)

High tech presentations are interesting and well done. Interesting as an Aussie to see the history depicted from the Turkish perspective.

I am a soldier, and I have been to war. the new center is a "simulation" as they say, which I guess means 3D or 4-D or something. the static exhibits cannot be seen without paying for the multi-video show, which has warnings that no kids under 6, no pregnant women, no heart problems visitors etc should see it. I am none of those types of visitor, but chose not to see it, as war is not meant to be done as a "Disney" or "saving private ryan" experience..... I don't need that..... the real message and the spiritual beauty of the area lies in the cemeteries and monuments of turkey, australia, and new Zealand. or perhaps the way simple museums are done on the western front in Belgium and france.... I suggest you save your time and remain true to what the Anzac folks have done properly ever since 1916, and honor the sacrifices by visiting the battlefield sites, the cemeteries, and tours, and just think and feel. spend more time at lone pine instead. you don't need this place.

This is a must see. Certainly outs the war into perspective. Nobody wins and both sides have a unique story to tell.
