Very nice. First of all, a lot of (free) parking spaces. Than nicely decorated store, with a lot of different shops. Atrio really has much to offer, for all type of people and different ages. Oh and also for different budgets. You also have a lot of resteurants with different food,ice cream stands .. etc. A also like the "vibe", i saw a lot of pople from Slovenia, Germany, Italy ..

We would not have expected that TripAdvisor would have placed reviews of shopping centers. When briefly preparing our 1-day visit to Villach from nearby Friuli, my wife and I happily used the info supplied by TripAdvisor's attraction list, only to find that most of them were closed or barely accessible (it was mid-December 2014). On our way back home, we passed the Atrio, and dropped in, as we had still some time to kill. We were completely surprised by the high "user-friendliness" of the Atrio - ranging from the spacious, convenient parking lot to several helpdesks for visitors, handy information points and a useful brochure. The shops are mainly fashion, shoes, drugstores and food. There are several cafés, indoor terrasses and fast-food type restaurants; we found the Cantina Tavagnacco a pleasant place for a glass of wine and some cheese and salami. Atrio is a great place for "people-watching". We think that the high quality of the Atrio center makes them stand out, and we agree that it deserves the status of "attraction" in TripAdvisor.

I visited today this shopping mall. It is nothing special. And I made the mistake to eat on a so called Italian restaurant on first floor. The worst food in my life. Awful.

This time it rained cats and dogs, so parking space was at a premium in the huge basement which houses the most convenient FREE parking facilities. (There are also facilities outside and on the roof.) But thanks to the intelligent routing system with red crosses and green arrows and individual red and green lights above the parking bays we found a parking space quickly. Cars with plates from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, Belgium, the Netherlands etc. were parked, so on this day many tourists had opted to keep out of the rain by visiting Atrio. But listen, don't wait for bad weather to visit Atrio. As I have mentioned in my previous reviews, Atrio has much to offer in the shopping line and is also home to several cafes, ice cream stands and restaurants. To top it off, visit the huge Interspar hypermarket. Atrio is on our permanent to-do list when on holiday in Carinthia.

I often hang out at Atrio Mall when i go to Villach. It is immediately out to the city centre. It has a very good parking area outside and also an underground facility. i don't want to bore you with the list of great shops present inside but be prepared to spend a day with you wife in and out the various stores. A thing that i have really appreciated is the free service that the information centre provides giving at families whit little kids a stroller , totally free of charge.Great MAll, good experience

This is my second review of "Einkaufszentrum Atrio"; I have added one point to my previous rating, to "Excellent", because Atrio grows on you. If you look at the features of Atrio, the only shops missing are the (expensive) international branded flagship shops. What you get is an ample string of well-known clothes and shoes shops, a bookshop, two well known shops (Mueller and DM) selling cosmetics and all kind of related stuff, a computer shop, a big picture and sound shop, a travel agency and all sorts of establishments where you can eat and drink. On the top floor is a section for kids entertainment. And do not forget the huge Interspar supermarket. The basement is completely taken by a enormous FREE car park, equipped with red/green LEDs over each parking space, so you can locate a free space simply. And, in case you get bored with the Atrio shops, across the Kaerntner Strasse are more big department stores as XXXLutz (Home and garden) and the Media Markt (Everything electric and electronic). One thing of Atrio I don't understand. How in Austria the European rules on (non-)smoking are implemented. In the Netherlands and also in Italy and other EU countries it is forbidden to smoke in public buildings and also in shops and restaurants. But in Atrio it is forbidden to smoke in the halls and gangways and where the "outside tables" of the restaurants are (OK so far), but in the restaurants, where the food is prepared and displayed, smoking is allowed. If the management of Atrio read this, please explain.

A good location for shopping in the region. A good range of shops and a very good eating place at Spar restaurant. I would recommend the salads that you can combine. As a dessert fruit salad and fresh fruit juice. Healthy eating with really low costs.

This shopping center is one of my favourite, because of the great Spar shop. They have covered and uncovered parking places for free. Running Asia restaurant can be found on 1- floor, Spar Restaurant too, and many other eating possibility.

I have been here buying dress for special event...it is easy to reach the location, after a while when You get hungry, you kan have a snack as well and You can also have fun exploring the floor panoramic map with Your children to entertain them for a while....but as all shopping centers I say...it takes time to explore it for the firs time, each nex time you enter inthere I recommend You to know what is Your purpose to do that to not waist to much time anyway...just do what you have to do and go out enjoy Your excellent day.

You can reach Atrio shopping mall easily, leaving the A2 motorway at Villach Warmbad. An enormous amount of FREE parking space is available on the forecourt, on the roof and in the cellar of the shopping mall. I prefer the car park in the cellar, because you have a covered entrance to the shopping area; furthermore, each parking space has a green/red light, indicating if the space is free or not; you can gauge quickly where free spaces are. The mall is modern, airy and light, featuring many shops for clothing, shoes, electronics, books, cosmetics etc. Also, there is a choice of coffee counters and eateries. In the cellar a huge Interspar hypermarket is established, with a enormous assortment of goods. The main mall is smoke free; what is amazing in my opinion, that smoking is allowed in many eateries. Fortunately, many eateries have "outside" tables in the mall, where you can sit in a smoke-free atmosphere.

Sono rimasta delusa...anche se capisco.Sono stata a Villach di domenica, pioveva già quando siamo partiti da casa, quindi siamo arrivati a Villach con la convinzione che avremmo visitato questo centro commerciale....e invece???Invece era chiuso, perchè loro la domenica non aprono i negozi.Siamo talmente tanto abituati ad avere i negozi sempre aperti ormai qui in Italia che ci stupiamo poi di trovarli chiusi all'estero la domenica.Peccato perchè l'avrei visitato volentieri, ma ahimè l'unico giorno che potrei andarci è la domenica.

Si trova poco prima di arrivare a Villach città in un contesto commerciale di grande importanza benché la città abbia meno di 60.000 abitanti. Da Tarvisio meno di 20 minuti con comoda indicazione di navigatore. Ci sono davvero tanti negozi. Ristoranti non molti. Il cinese/giapponese però offre, con il suo nastro trasportatore, un rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Atmosfera rilassante. Sempre molto affollato ma comunque vivibile. Ottimo il negozio per sportivi (Hervis) sempre con offerte invitanti. Addobbi natalizi importanti. Temperatura, sopratutto se si proviene da piste da sci, confortevole. Toilette molto pulite. Prezzi complessivamente molto competitivi. Un pomeriggio intero è appena sufficiente per visitarlo in maniera adeguata.

Per cominciare bene la nostra breve vacanza in carinzia abbiamo deciso, con la mia famiglia, di fermarci presso questo centro commerciale sia per mangiare che per vedere qualche negozio. Tutto molto pulito. Molte proposte dove fermarsi a mangiare e negozi per tutti i gusti.

Für jeden Geldbeutel das passende Geschenk, Gastronomie und Bekleidung. Gratis Parkplätze und sogar regionale Produkte vom Bauern sind zu finden.

Mi domando come mai in Italia i centri commerciali risultano, dal punto di vista architettonico, banali e poco funzionali e dal punto di vista attrattivo piatti e monotoni. All'Atrio nulla di tutto questo. Un centro grande, accogliente, pulito con ottimi negozi e ottimi ristoranti. Il parco per i bimbi e' bello e funzionale. Forse un po' caro ma i piu' piccoli posso giocare ore senza annoiarsi e i grandi possono stare comodamente seduti a bere o leggere. Nel periodo natalizio poi viene addobato in maniera magica. Non c'e' che dire, in questo caso dobbiamo solo imparare dagli austriaci.
