One of famous beaches on island. Wonderful, but hot sand, big parking but not enough space in august, good but expensive restaurant and cafe. No depth in water more than 100 meters. If you catch waves, you have great fun. but if you come when sea is calm....nothing special.
Paradise beach is a beautiful place. The sand is smooth and the sea is crystal clear. There is a cafe which serves burgers, souvlaki and other treats. Refreshing frappes and beers, too of course :) You have to pay for a parasol but it's only a few euros, so not too bad.
Classic brown sand, shallow water, nice waves. It offers a good stay both for individuals looking for some fun with the waves as well as families with children who can not wonder in deep waters.
Everything about it is perfect: the sand, the crystal water, the view of the small island. It’s a toddler friendly beach, with shallow water and no rocks. In the morning you can catch the waves and in the evening the clear water is flat and warm.We caught some tiny kind of shrimps that the kids liked to observe and some small fish also. It’s more crowded than years ago but still our favorite on Thassos .
This is one of the biggest beaches on Thassos. It is a bit hard to reach with a car, but you can go by foot from the main road, it 's not that far away. Usually there are big waves , but it is so fun ! very wide , sandy beach, with some restaurants and cafes.
Paradise beach is great for those with kids. The sand very fine, the water is chrystal clear and not deep. It is perfect for small children. There are two taverns, you can find good food in both of them, traditional dishes and wifi. The sunbeds are surcharge - 7 E for a set.
Paradise beach is great! grey and black sand, very fine. the water is very clean, christal clear and turqoise. There are two taverns, you can find good food in both of them, traditional dishes and wifi.
A beautiful beach with lots to do on the water if you want to. Very peaceful for those who want to chill out. A little stony getting into the sea but fantastic for swimming.
Very long beach for Thassos standards. Even though it has heaps of restaurants, it took us longer than it should to find a fast food with the usual gyros. The road that takes you to the beach from Panagia is very steep (we were on a rented scooter 50cc), so if you are renting a weak scooter, its a really steep climb back - takes a while and is hard on the motor. All in all it's a big, crouded tourist beach with no natural beauties you can see on other beaches on the island + no natural shade.Would recommend the concrete diving platform on the far right.
Very beautiful beach.Cystal water with no waves.Shallow water,Sunbeds and umbrela avaibles for 7 euros (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrela). Not very crowded. It's only reachable by car.The big problema is parking.Go early..heheeThere are shower and toilets. The restaurante and bar is nice with good prices (no credit cards)
A truly breathtaking beach, the water is very shallow for a long length into the sea crystal clear water no seaweed or rocks on the seafloor to be seen in miles in the distance there is another small island 20 meters into the beach start the tree soaked hills beautiful! Don't expect water jets bananas or any time or water sport though there is a great beach volleyball net marked out which we enjoyed for hours, one of the nicer beaches of Thasos.
Excellent beach with gold sand, reachable by car and ideal for families with children. You go very far until the water deepens.
If you want long, shallow beaches this is the place to go. It's good if you have kids, because the shallow water stretches out for a long distance so you can be in waist-deep water for quite some time. The sunbeds are a bit price-y (7€ for two sunbeds and an umbrella) given the fact that you still have to order something from the bar. Try avoiding the "beach rush hour" if you want to be able to navigate through sunbeds and towels.
If you go on the island this is one of the must see beach. Is the only beach in thassos that have's waves. don't ask me why geaography:P.Very clean fresh food at taverns on the beachd pretty big beach.
I have just returned from Thassos having had a wonderful holiday but was really shocked when returning to Paradise Beach. 2 years ago in early June it was really good with a very welcome group of naturists at the far end. This year I really thought I had driven down to the wrong beach as there were row upon row of sun beds with no room to move. It was very noisy and not my idea of paradise. Good for children and families maybe but not for me anymore. Needless to say there were no naturists! Still there are many other quieter beaches so I still love Thassos.
