The beach of Skoutari is very clean and appropriate for families with small kids.Also there are some more beaches near of the beach of Skoutari where are't full of people.You have to try them if you want to avoid the crowd.

Fine , clean sand, clear, shallow waters, protected bay, therefore calm sea without big waves. Restaurant right on the beach offers beds and umbrellas for free. Changing rooms on the beach also available. Free parking under olive trees at the entrance of the beach.

Amazingly beautiful blue flag beach surrounded by the picturesque bay of Sloutari and some mountains. The sandy strip is fairly narrow, but a person does not need more than that for a relaxing time by the water. There is a convenient taverna for a meal or drink after 12pm and some umbrellas and sun lounges. They were free in Sept. The water is shallow and the beach is suitable for kids.

It's like on a picture post card... Crystal clear water, sandy beach (these ones are rather difficult to find), a lovely tavern right at the waterfront and hardly any people around - what more can you expect? Greece at it's best.

The village of Skoutari, in eastern Mani area, has 3 nice beaches. Middle one is organised with umbrellas etc. Facing the sea, th eone on your right hand, the beach of Agia Varvara, is a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters and rich natural vegetation, quite distinct, as there are tall elm trees and reeds as close as 1-2 metres from the seawater, which definitely means un underlying waterbed. What is most intersting for visitors is that it is the only beach in Skoutari with natural shade (after 11 am appr.) and if you bring the essentials you can spend a whole day there. At one edge of this beach there are two small fish taverns with fresh fish for all wallets. Once in the emerald warm waters, facing the mainland, you enjoy a great landscape. In 15-20 minutes driving you can visit other great beaches in Vathy, the village of Kotronas in eastern Mani and the beautiful town of Areopolis (pure Mani) for a larger option for tavernas and a couple of barsFor I wish I could have stayed more.

Beautiful sandy beach. Clear turquoise water. We were there at the end of august and it was very quite, just perfect. Not spoiled nor organised, for now, and hopefully it will stay like this.

Skoutari has won a blue flag; apart from official accreditations, this tiny but beautiful village of Eastern Mani built on a hilltop and surrounded by mountains has one of the best beaches I have seen. Clean with golden sand and crystal waters, quiet and civilised. The village features 2 tavernas on the seaside, only one of which was open when we visited. The season here starts in late May/June, so we were fortunate to see Skoutari bay early on. The sea was still cold but wonderful and the landscape magic. Altogether I can safely say that it beats certain beaches of the Cyclades islands. What's more: the locals make sure the beach is kept spotless.

Eine der schönsten Sandbuchten des Peloponnes, liegt südlich des kleinen Städtchens Gythion, geschützt mit feinem Sandstrand und ganz sauberem, blauem Wasser. Einige Liegestühle mit Sonnenschirm sind vom netten Kalamakia Tavernenbesitzer aufgestellt worden und natürlich gratis und ohne Verzehrpflicht! Im August sieht man einige griechische Familien, im Juni und September hat man die ganze Bucht ganz alleine für sich! Paradiesische Zustände selbst im August!

Один из лучших пляжей в районе Гийотио (Лакония). Песчаный пляж, песчаное дно, небольшой залив, кафе, несколько зонтиков. Чистая вода, неглубокое дно, немного кустарника и деревьев на границе пляжа. В сентябре немного отдыхающих - замечательное место дл плавания спокойного отдыха

Πεντακάθαρα κρυστάλλινα νερά, και παραλία με άμμο. Απολύτως κατάλληλη για παιδιά δεδομένου ότι βαθαίνει σταδιακά και ενώ θεωρείται ανοιχτή θάλασσα, δίνει έντονα την αίσθηση κολπίσκου. Την προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Bella spiaggia, peccato esserci capitati in una giornata ventosa che ci ha impedito di goderne appieno.
