Beautiful. Uninhabited, with the exception of dozens of campers. Awesome taverna by the dock has incredible basic greek food. Makes for a nice day trip.

A short boat ride from Koufonissi, where you will see the most beautiful colours in the sea...I got off the boat at Nero beach last time, which has silky turquoise waters, then I picked up the boat again,a couple of hours later,and went to the taverna, and a walk around the island, which is full of animals roaming pretty much freely...No roads, so wear suitable footwear for light hiking maybe, bring your own water and food, if you are not planning to use the taverna...and also your own shade...The taverna , in my opinion is a MUST to complete the Kato Koufonissi experience...!! At certain times of the year, the boat timetable allows you to go over in the evening, for a rather unique dinner venue...Its like turning the clock back 50 years...just love it..!!

Get in the boat, bring some water and food (although there is one taverna on the island) and go! The boat has two drop offs. We got off at the second one, and hiked over the hill to other beaches. The best spot, however, is on the first drop off (where the taverna is). Get off the boat and walk to the right, passing the church-- make sure you close the gate or the goats will get out. Walk 15 minutes and you'll see a lovely natural swimming pool. Someone was even kind enough to put a ladder there! Reef shoes recommended.

It is a must visit island. Take plenty of sun scream and cover with as there is no shade there at all. There is one little taverna and thats it. But the beaches and the sea is amazing.

At a 10-15min boat ride from Ano Koufonissi (the main island) 3 times daily, with crystal clear turquoise water and virgin beaches, some being shingle. Mind the sea urchins! The island is uninhabited, preferred by the ones who love to camp free and be in quiet as there is only a taverna with very good dishes.

Kato Koufonissi and Ano Koufonissi are two islands in the Aegean with a distance of 200 meters from one another. Kato Koufonissi is uninhabited with only a tavern on it and free campers. Ano Koufonissi has a population of around 300 people in winter but gets many visitors in the summer since it has many good hotels. Both islands are exceptionally beautiful and unspoilt with sea caves and turquoise waters that can only be found in the Aegean and the Caribbean. All beaches in Kato Koufonissi are clothes-optional and in June, July and September, most beaches on Ano Koufonissi are also clothes-optional. No car is needed since all distances are walkable and there is a frequent boat service.

Остров для Робинзонов! Нет ни отелей, ничего... За исключением одной таверны, которая работает только летом, с очень вкусной едой! Все отдыхающие - это те, кто предпочитает отдых дикарем с палатками. У нас было однодневное путешествие.

Warto udac się na kato koufonissi. Jest tam tawerna i plaże. Można w ciągu jednego dnia przejść całą wyspę.

Δεν ειναι μέρος για όλους .Εχει φανατικούς φίλους και άλλους που δεν θα ξανά πήγαιναν .Εγω ανήκω σε αυτούς που δεν θα έκαναν τον κόπο να πανε ξανά και μάλιστα πληρώνοντας το καί´κι ...

Si raggiunge in barca da Pano. Si può scendere alla prima fermata Panaghia per poi attraversare l' isola a piedi per il sentiero e arrivare alla spiaggia Nero per prendere la barca del ritorno.Le spiaggie sono incantevoli e il panorama dalle collinette è fantastico!!!

En fin liten ö som passar om man vill sola och bada. Vattnet är fin men inte så mycket snorkling. Vandringen till lagunen är fin och det finns många fina stränder efter vägen. Byn är trevlig men vi blev rastlösa efter några dagar och valde att resa vidare.

Σαν να ημασταν οι μονοι ανθρωποι στον πλανητη....Μονοι σε μια παραλια ονειρεμενη μαζευοντας αχοινους...ΟΝΕΙΡΟ...

isola greca piccola ma bella merita la visita e il soggiorno,il mare è freddo ma l'isola è adorabile è bella da girare con la bici e si mangia bene il pesce soprattutto i calamari fritti sono la loro specialità insieme ad altre cose

Ακατοίκητο νησάκι πας μόνο με καραβάκι-ημερήσια εκδρομή.Αν θυμάμαι καλά έχει 2-3 παραλίες.Θα πρότεινα μην προτιμήσετε να το περπατήσετε όλο όπως κάναμε εμείς γιατί ντάλα καλοκαίρι δεν είναι και ότι καλύτερο.Προτιμήστε την παραλία 'νερό' για να αποδράσετε 'ελεύθερα'
