Simple but nice... If you go at a quiet period you'll enjoy it properly... There are some restaurants and cafes nearby that make the stay easier.

This was a very pretty beach with some really interesting red rocks. It wasn't quite as awe inspiring as some of the other beaches on the island but beautiful and definitely worth a trip! The drive to it is also great, very scenic.

Came in May '14 and on a spectacular warm Tuesday there were six other people on the most beautiful beach I have ever walked along. Near where the rocks are red you can dig your feet into the sand and feel the heat coming from the geothermal vents. Umbrellas and chairs for us were first come first serve, I think as an incentive to get people to go to the restaurant and bar that are right at the entrance. We had spaghetti at Sirocco (the restaurant) for lunch. If you want super secluded, go to Tsigrado Beach, Paliochori is much more wide open and public. The rocks are a bit tough, so bring water shoes or sandals.

Nice sand and pebble beach in a calm and colorful bay. The volcanic red rocks in contrast to the clear blue emerald sea. Well worth a stop on your beach discovery trip on Milos.

I'm so glad that I stayed in Paleochori. The first thing my wife and I did was to go to the Aqualoco bar on this beach to enjoy the view. This is also a great beach to take sunrise and sunset photos; there's a promontory to the east and another to the west. I found this beach to be very clean as we're all the beaches on Milos. There is also water skiing nearby in addition to excellent food choices in the tavernas.

it is ok. The pebble beach and the sea is nice but it is not the prettiest of beaches. The beach bar in the middle is owned by a man who does not really care about the place. He was repairing his sun beds with a drill and a hammer while we were trying to relax on the beach having paid him for the sun beds.

One of my favourite beaches in Milos, just look at the pictures and you understand, clear water, still virgin place, wouaahhhh

Really liked the beach. It's calm and relaxing, The water is nice and if you do some snorkeling, you can find some springs releasing some kind of gas. The water and the sand are a bit warmer around the springs.

Easily accessible beach on the south coast. Quiet when we went there (September) but I can imagine much busier in mid summer. A few cafés and restaurants for a quick break and back into the sea. The waters are a little cloudy due to the sulphur from the volcano below. The volcano also makes for warmer waters. Even the sand in the sea is hotter the deeper you sink your feet into it. Don't let a little 'yellow scum' put you off. Again this is not dirt but emissions from the volcano. You can easily see the bubbles coming up from the sea bottom if you go snorkelling.

Very easy to reach even though you don't have a car, for there are several buses connecting Paliochori to Adamas (at least in high season). There are several organized areas, but the further east you go the emptier it gets. You can have a nice swim because the sea is quite deep, but watch out the waves off the coast, which can be rough even though the sea looks calm.

Beautiful and very wide beach, surrounded by rocks. Surprisingly not crowded at all! There is good services around the beach, and the water is super clear. You can do snorkeling and see some fish but also some little eruption in the bottom of the sea that pops out bubble. Also, you don't need to walk 1000 miles to get in the water like in some other beaches, it goes deep really fast: like you are in a pool. The sand is form by beautiful multicolored little rocks.Just a must.

We caught the bus from Adamas and at first it looked a bit unwelcoming - probably because there were a few clouds but actually the cloud cover was a bit of a relief. The water looked as if it dropped steeply quite quickly but actually it was fine and there were some good waves to play in. Another good day.

Take the first beach (deep blue), being smaller and cozier, but mostly near the impressive cliffs in red, yellow and white. (The other parts may be more organized, wider, but much busier and the view is spoilt by the many boats anchoring.)Also for snorkling (especially if you're a diver) it is quite interesting. The sulfur springs make visibility poor, but the water is cozy warm! Also the marine life is more abundant, than most other places. On all days, we've seen lots of sole, parrot fishes or schools of tiny barracudas. In my opinion, Milos' best organized beach, inviting you for an all day stay.

one of the nicest serviced beaches along the south coast, very easy access, un expensive service, Eur 6 for the umbrella and two sun beds, suffiently wide beach and beautiful water, green and blue

We could have stayed there for hours, the colours are amazing and we just sat reading our books, diving into the water, and so on.
