pefkos beach

I went to Pefkos at the end of October and have been to a few of the islands over the last 10 years. I put my own beach mat down for a few rays/rest whilst walking the whole beach stretch and was approached by one of the guys who collects money for hiring a sunbed - he came over, as rude as you like, and told me to move in no uncertain terms as I was not on a sunbed/and in a sunbed area(?) - talk about Greek Islands being easy going and chilled, friendly people (which I have always found) - normally towards the end of the season they wave the charge anyway - obviously trying to squeeze as much money out of the tourists as they can in Pefkos - I was very disappointed to say the least

Get there early if you take your own umbrella. I had lilo.s and a parasol, spaces got taken quickly and the static beds and brollies can work out expensive if travelling with a family

lovely beach, plenty of sunbeds and parasols at a fee. Quite a long stretch. bit of a dip in the sand (bit of a shelf) so be careful when going into the sand

Stayed in a local hotel and visited the beach a few times. The water was crystal clear and the beach is sandy without stones although watch out for them in the water. There are sun beds and umbrellas which are not expensive to hire for the day. worth a visit.

The beach was not too big, had sunbeds and umbrellas , sand and safe bathing. You can leave stuff on beach and go and eat at the tavernas by the beach and toilets near by. Parking for quite a few cars and seemed to be places spare

Beautiful, small, sandy and warm clear waters.Best beach I've been to.Quiet peaceful and perfect for unwinding.

Lovely little beaches quiet at that time of year.Sunbeds to hire at reasonable cost nice clear water safe for children , places to eat and drink plus tiolets.

Liked the gorgeous clean and clear waters and views, plus the fact that no-one was pestering us to buy things. bars and shops in easy reach (in season- not at end of October!!)Disliked the litter and bits of plastic

Clean with foot shower both on and of beach and an extremely nice bar/ cafe/ restaraunt called, surprisingly, Lee beach bar.

Very beautiful quiet beach , nice walk beautiful sunset, water very clear , excellent for swimming, very clean

the beach is beautiful and water is so clear you can fish swimming around. there are sun loungers on the beach which are 4euros a day. the loungers are only 3 rows deep so your not on top of each other either.

A long sandy beach with many things to do,good for anybody and great for families with children.Good facilities and lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Only100 metres from the resort with restaurants just above the beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas available for hire.

The beach was nice, plenty of sun loungers, very windy and sand can get very VERY hot, nice for snorkling

Very nice beach. It is quite narrow. Sand is white and the water is very clear. Plenty sun beds and sunshade umbrellas for hire at 8 euros for the day. Stairs up from the beach at several points lead to restaurants,shops etc so you can have a break and go for lunch. Also showers at these points for washing sand off. One thing to be aware of,there are some rocks further out in the sea but you can easily see them and avoid. We found that around waist depth was mostly clear of these.
