bubbles bar

I tried to keep the bar open but the rent was too high. The British Bar in Nidri is towards Vhlio end of Nidri 50 metres from Athos next to the Church and is Called DeVine Bar !!

I actually loved it when Karen and hubby were in charge - but I'm an expat (whatever that means) ... although not in Lefkada - I was always really excited to go to Nidri to get my dose of Brits (I don't see anyone all year) but the last time I was bombarded by dance music which the new owner said was a 'one off'. As its far for us to come for a night out (about 1hr drive) we haven't made the journey since to check out whether the dance music was a one off - we 'may' make the journey on friday (24th Oct ) but it's the end of the season so I who knows ....I never thought Nik and Karen were fake at all but ..... everyone is fake to a certain extent when they own a business and see different people on a daily basis - it's called tourism ... not fake

At last, after visiting Nidri for 7 years and frequenting a local English watering hole called Bubbles Bar.I am pleased to hear that it has a new owner, no more false greetings from Karen and Nick the previous owners, no more dodgy spirits, and although we visited late in the season there was still a vibrant atmosphere.
