This are amaizing caves , here you can see turtles , the water is calm and warm . You can go swiming inside , the feelling is amazing .
The whole Zante relief is some magic made by the nature: when the rocky island meets the sea, the result is simply magic and the Keri caves are just one of the numerous examples. Just imagine the crystal clear water full of small colorful fishes and the chalk white caves. Swimming is such places - a dream that came true!
I liked the caves and the blue clean and warm sea and of course big turtles smimming under the water, just wonder to pat them one day
Amazingly beautiful water! And the caves are picturesque. Swiming in them - what a feeling! And to reach them one must ride a motor-boat which makes it an exciting adventure!
Highly recommended to visit on a rented small boat you will have much more fun on you private small boat than on a big tourist boat.
A great day out to Keri Caves. I travelled from Alykanas by bus which took 30-40 minutes. Good size boat for us all (45) and managed to see two turtles as it was near the end of the season, then onto turtle Island for a swim.
This whole area if beautiful the colour of the sea is so blue crystal clear water it is the experience of a lifetime .As you go up the coast you get a hint in tour nose of the make up of the Greek Islands their volcanic past and present the smell of gas that rotten egg smell reminds you that nature has the last laugh....The ferry went right into one cave got the feeling of being in another world back to pre-history...it's just perfect..
Visited here as part of trip to see Turtle Island. Lovely water and you can swim in the caves. Book in Tsivily direct 17 euros each. Much cheaper than with hotel reps ! Coach picks you up from hotel. Trip is about 4 hours.
The Keri caves are also very beautiful. We visit also the blue caves and we consider there both deserve a visit. We went by boat and were able to swim in its wonderful waters.
Part of the turtle spotting boat trip from Nefis, went here a few years back on the shipwreck Island tout too but this time I swam in through the arches and into a wonderful grotto, perfect way to spend some time swimming, it's very beautiful.
Keri caves are beautiful. one more amazing must see on a beautiful island. A hang out area along with Lagana, kalamaki and the keri Island for the caretta turtles which are also very beautiful
We found this via TA. Pick up your personal boat at Koukla Beach and for 25 euros each we enjoyed a nearly 3 hour tour including the caves, Mithonisi beach (where we stopped for 20 mins for a swim in clear blue waters), AND saw a turtle, which was totally magical, left us in awe . Finished by cocktails! We set off at 4pm, a really good time as not so busy, a lovely afternoon.
Water around the cave entry was polluted by large boats so we didn't swim to the caves; from the outside, there is not much to see. Snorchling in the little bay was fine.
A must! Definitely worth visiting, very beautiful, great views and nice swimming by the caves. You'll get some stunning pictures.
