This museum primarily showcases the history of Offenburg during the 19th and 20th centuries, but also includes some older history, German's colonial past, and some natural wildlife in the area. It's easy to spend an hour or so in this museum.That said, the museum only presents in German and French at the moment, so unless you are able to read in one of these languages, it will be quite impossible to enjoy the museum.As of our visit in September 2014, entry to the museum is free, as a section of it are currently under construction and is closed to the public (but the rest is open).
