Efiffel Park is a very nice place where you can both enjoy the free rides and all the animals. The park is rather large, and if you don't feel like walking you can take the free "bus" around the park. Definitely worth visiting with children
This park has plenty of rides to keep your little ones busy and happy. They also have rides that teenagers enjoy (I have teenagers, but they also went to the park when they were 6 and loved it). They also have quite a large animal area, and you can feed the wildlife while you are there.
Nice walk, fun slides and attractions for THE kids. Would recommand for -10year olds. Was cold there; hat & mits and sterdy shoes advised!
Fact is not that Eifelpark is employing people with no residence permits, which means they are employed without any serious contract and their monthly salary is very low. They only have approximately 2 weeks per year of holidays. But that is not all. Right next of having people who do black work (illegal), the employer furthermore propose young people (interested to work in the park) to come for 'trial days'. During these days and due to that Eifelpark does not inform the employment agency about it, the young people have no benefit of security. They are not insured during those days. Furthermore the employer uses those young people during the days when the main animal caretakers are on holidays or have their days off. Afterwards they provide the young people with an employment sheet, to then inform them a few days later that they are not taken in after all. Therefore: beware of visiting the Eifelpark, as after all you support illegal employment and illegal insecure working conditions!
Visited the park at the weekend with all the family (Parents, grandparents and children aged 4 and 1) and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely balance of playgrounds, rides and wild animals all set in amazing forest. As other reviews have mentioned all rides are free so entry ticket is great value for money. It doesn't feel overly commercialised either, only one small gift shop and prices for food were not sky high. We really enjoyed the fact that the animals had huge enclosures and were all native to this part of Europe. Quite a lot of walking is required if you want to see all the animals and my 4 year old struggled a bit but there was a train to take you round although we didn't see this. Fantastic trailer cart type things you could use to pull small children around too.The playgrounds all seemed to be new and made me very envious that we don't have anything like this in the UK. Highly recommend!
We loved this park. It is very large so it never feels too full. There are some great 'traditional' fun things like mirrors and ball pits. There is also an amazing playground and a roller coaster. None of the rides inside the park cost extra and you will have no problem spending a whole day there. There is also a great train you can get which can take you to the upper level of the park with the added advantage that you can see a lot of animals on the way there. Don't miss the upper level there is loads to do there too! All in all a great day out. Highly recommended.
This park went above and beyond my expectations. It was just me and my husband, but it was very kid friendly. There is a lot of walking around as the animals are very spread out, so make sure to wear good walking shoes. There are plenty of places to buy drinks and food, but I think it is a good idea to bring an empty water bottle to fill up. The animal experience was one of the best that I have ever had. You can pet the animals and even feed them for a very small fee. Bring a few 1 euro coins so that you don't miss out on that part of the experience. I bought 1 pack of deer feed and it lasted me the whole time. In addition to just walking around and looking at the animals, there are several options to watch the keepers feed animals or do various things. My husband and I watched a hawk show which quite fun. Other things to do in the park include racing small sail boats, riding bumper cars (only small children) riding a roller coaster (which my husband and I did twice!), paddle boats, puppet shows, and bungee cord jumping. If you did everything the park had to offer, you could probably stay all day. As it was, my husband and I were mostly interested in the animals and the roller coaster and so we stayed for an afternoon. The price is very reasonable for what there is to do.
