Scenery. No cars apart from a couple of marked crossings. As safe as a cycle route can be.plenty of pit stops along the way.

The best bicycle path of Liguria with fantastic seaview.A 20 km flat path from San Lorenzo al Mare to Sanremo (on the West Riviera) following the old railway track.The entire path has been recently created so the lane is really good.Alongside the road you meet 4 villages and the big town of Sanremo: all these places offers you break areas and bike rentals.In case you decide to cycle in the summer don't forget your swimsuite: you can easily park the bike and stop for a swim in one of the lot beaches of the area.

It was a brilliant idea to convert the old railway track into a cycling path. It is about 25KM long and covers several nice villages along the coast from Sanremo. It is easy to rent bicycles (as well as tricycles and other equipment) and there are several bars along the route. The only thing to watch out for is the direction of the wind: it is a lot easier to start against the wind and to come back with the wind behind as in some days it can make a big difference. The best thing is that being an old railway track there are no big climbs, only gentle inclines.

What can be nicest than see the places along the sea side? On a great road, just for bikers? With no interference from cars and motos, wit tunnels and a great view?

Best way to enjoy the see view and get a natural suntan safe from the trafic of the Aurelia way! Easy to rent a bike (not cheap indeed) and get a chance to shoot nice photos.

My favorite activities in the region is to take this coast line with my bicycle or to jog on the route as much as I want! Beautiful view, easy access to beaches, long enough to enjoy a whole day. Perfect for "passeggiare" (walk around) with families & friends. It would be nice to have some nice cafe/bar on the route in the future :) A request to the responsible authority: could you fix drinking water fountains before the hot summer arrives?

We cycled from San Lorenzo al Mare to Riva Ligure on a cold, grey and windy day! The path is well maintained, signposted and a real pleasure. Even going though the very long tunnel was great fun especially on such a horrible day! Riva Ligure has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere as well as being very picturesque. It was great to stop here for coffee and too many biscuits then work off all those calories on the ride back (against the wind!)

Unbelievable, It's amazing how beautiful is this Bike pist along the sea...It's 40km now but it is growing and growing everytime you will come it will be better and better. Come and have a look.

Une transformation exemplaire d'une voie de chemin de fer en piste cyclable en bord de mer qui fait déjà presque 25 km de long.

25 kms en bord de mer, sans danger et pratiquement tout plat. Que demander de mieux pour des sportifs du dimanche ?Il y a plein de petites buvettes tout du long et de très bons restaurants à San Remo ou à San Lorenzo, en bord de mer.C'est un vrai plaisir à partager

godere di pedalare lontano dal traffico, costeggiando la riviera ligure , che è ancora capace di farti gustare la natura posta a ridosso dei monti mentre godi dello sciaquio del mare

che dire di un percorso parallelo al mare,fruibile da pedoni e ciclisti,senza l'ansia del traffico veicolare.solo questa caratteristica ne fà una ottima occasione per godere del mare sotto di noi senza patemi d'animo anche e soprattutto di famiglie con piccoli bimbi.lo spettacolo offerto dal mar tirreno(ligure),fà il resto.andateci,lo merita.i servizi,con pazienza,arriveranno.

Tutti i giorni (tranne quelli piovosi) una bella passeggiata. Attenzione in estate all'affollamento. Quest'anno prima tappa del Giro d'Italia!
