v村是在上次的泥石流灾害中受灾比较严重的一个村子，我们去到的时候应该刚恢复接待游客不久，路边的一些房子上还留有泥石流经过的痕迹，不过居民们还是很乐观的生活着，象当天的阳光一样的开心呢

One of the 5 hill towns in the Cinque Terre, this town is a photographer's dream.Climb down to it, have an espresso, and enjoy the local markets.

We visited here in October 2013. We walked the Azzura trail from Monterosso and Vernazza looked so quaint and pretty as we approached in on the trail. It has the only secure landing point on the Cinque Terre coast and is noted as the quaintest of the 5 villages. On the harbour stands the Santa Margherita Chiesa built in 1318 and the ruins of an 11th century castle look out on the sea. The harbour and main street is lined with little cafes. The peeling paint on the buildings goes almost unnoticed as it is colourful and picturesque. We stopped at the cafe right on the harbour edge for a coffee and bruschetta watching the waves spray up over the rocks. A charming place to visit.

A terrific little town and all that's advertised! We would put Manarola a close second, but after visiting the Cinque Terre, Vernazza was #1 in our book. Plan on spending a couple of days here if you can; we spent just a few hours in this little piece of heaven, had a great meal, wandered the streets, sunned on the pier, and had some gelato on the way out of town. We'll be back!

We were here and at Monterosso and we used the excellent, convenient and inexpensive train to get between the little villages. We had come from Nice and Cannes, which were crowded, so perhaps to us the Cinque Terra seemed less crowded than to some - we were there at peak season. Despite not being quiet, it was charming, very special and had a relaxed feel to it. We sat at an ocean view table at one of the cafes (there are lots of them) and enjoyed watching the world go by. Also got a massage on the beach, which wasn't half bad either. All in all, a visit to the Cinque Terra is a worthwhile way to spend your time.

It is a really special place. Although they still need to improve on services. It was hard to find a open restaurant, so we ate a pizza (excellent by the way) sat on the street. But with that view, everything was simply perfect!

Tragic flood and mudslide made us fear the village would not recover, but it did! Worth staying overnight here.

After a long walk in, having a beer beside the small harbour is one of the worlds pleasures. Vernazza has many small eating places but the best for me was just sitting on a bench having a beer in the little harbour.

Beautiful fishermen village, the pearl of The Cinque Terre. Once you get there we wont regret your decision to visit this magic place. Great people, excellent fresh food and amazing views. Great home base to enjoy the Cinque Terre. Just an advice. Do not take the "famous" Angelo Boat Tour, you will paid a lot of money for something is not what they sale, at the end of tour the wife will give you a recipe for less money that the amount you actually paid, asking you to be so kind to tell any authority that you paid that amount of money..,what a thief!!!. For every people that write a negative review about Angelo's she will write a long diatribe full of lies.

Cinque terre is one of the prettiest places i have visited and one of them places where i would go back in a hear beat. We took the train from rome to la Spezia and then changed from there to the train that goes to all the villages of cirque terre. Vernazza is the 4th village and i think every village is very different from the other. We were lucky to find a place to stay in Vernazza. Its a very small village and doesn't have a lot of accommodation places, but we were glad we stayed there. We had the best gelato, pesto gnocchi and some great wine (the shopkeeper recommended and said we would go come again the next day asking for more, and we did). Vernazza also has the pirate cafe that is famous the pastries prepared by 2 sicilian brothers. commuting to the other villages is just a train ride away. But i would definitely recommend hiking between villages in Cinque Terre, thats how you get to see the best views of the coast. Must go place! Also, everyone speaks broken english if not fluent, so don't worry about any language barrier :)

...too touristic and pricey!! However Cinque Terre in general is very nice, lovely to walk through. Vernazza is one of the most beautiful places there and it deserves to be visited, maybe not in high season.

Coming from the first 3 towns, this town is distinctively more vibrant than any others. The moment you stepped out from the train station, there's shops and restaurants all around. Walk to the pier and enjoy the sunset from there.

First I would say that we visited three of the Cinque Terre villages. Like always we read about the sites we are going to visit to determine which ones we want to see. We saw so many beautiful pictures and heard from others that have been there. I must say that it did not live up to our expectations. With that said, Vernazza is beautiful. We spent a couple of hours walking around and enjoying the scenery. It was a hot humid day when we were there but we still had a good time. We had some pizza and gelato that were very different and delicious.You can take the train here to the other cities.If you are going to see any of the 5 cities, I would recommend this one in particular.

Visited three of the Cinque Terre villages with my family in Oct 2014, it was much anticipated after all I had read and did not live up to the hype. All of us were left disappointed and did not enjoy it. So over crowded that we were literally shuffling round shoulder to shoulder with a tide of tourists and jammed on over crowded, infrequent trains all day, or waiting on the platform for late trains, or left behind on the platform as the train could not physically fit any more people on it. They are beautiful villages but not big enough for the volume of people. Trains are not frequent enough so we were pushed and shoved all day, it was awful. Alternatively had a wonderful day at Portovenere, stunning.

Vernazza is a brilliant town. It's been preserved as if in a time capsule and all you'll find are traditional buildings, paint colors and construction. The town is car free aside from where cars can drop pedestrians at the top. It's a maze of tiny staircases undoubtedly leading one great view after another. The town is VERY sleepy in the winter, but becomes action packed in the summer. The train will be VERY crowded (standing room only) and while you MAY wonder for a brief second if the chaos is worth it, you'll arrive and see the answer is 100% YES. Enjoy the beaches, enjoy the good food, walk the trails connecting Vernazza to the neighboring towns, etc. Vernazza will not disappoint.
