After visiting the villa recently I couldn't understand why I had never heard of it before. Absolutely wonderful with superb frescoes. The position of the villa, just outside Pesaro, on the hill side ,offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The opening times are very limited- only on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm to 6pm in the summer months with reservation made in advance , This may explain why it is relatively unknown. However it should be definitely included on an art lover's visit to this part of Italy.

Before you visit the charms afforded by the villa,there is a must-do drive along the inner road to reach Pesaro. The impressive views and marvellous landscape are captured in a 25 km downhill, bending road,which is worth the effort. In this way we discovered the treats of Rio Vallugola,a charming little port,Casteldimezzo and its houses,the clear views all the way to the sea. Take a detour to see the church containing a famous crucifix, as well as Fiorenzuola,a charming village whose heart is medieval and perfectly preserved. From here you can admire the fortress of Gradara We finally arrived at Villa Imperialle, composed of two 15th & 16th century buildings surrounded by a pine-wood. This villa represents how Renaissance high society spent its holidays. It was inhabited by religious orders and as such the paintings within are a micro-look at the rich past. Troop through to the secret garden which delights and is sometimes a private refuge from the deluge of tourists.

A lovely villa located on the outskirts of Pesaro. This is still a private residence- to visit one needs to make reservations at the tourist information bureau located at " piazza Della Liberta". Tours are only available on Wednesday and cost $12.00euros (includes the bus ride to take you and an English guided tour). If you are interested in the history of the area (Sforza, Rovere), it is a must. Beautiful views of Pesaro from the Villa

a pesaro ci sono tante cose belle ma decisamente le villa imperiale e una delle ville piu belle d'italia non perche lo dico io a e veramente eccezionale

Una delle ville più belle, un pezzo di storia da visitare assolutamente, sia per gli interni che per gli esterni.

bellissima la ciliegina sulla torta di un bellissimo pomeriggio trascorso in allegria visitando posti bellissimi che ti fanno capire che Pesaro non è solo mare!

E' un luogo che vale la pena di vedere, spettacolare architettura immersa nella natura… uno di quei posti che contribuiscono a collocare l'Italia come il Paese più romantico e bello al mondo.

Luogo magico immerso nel verde. Sembra di essere proiettati improvvisamente in un'altra epoca storica!! Visitatela! Non ve ne pentirete!

Bella,,, con il bel tempo per chi ama fare foto è un posto splendido.Pesaro e veramente incantevole e piena di arte sopratutto posti come villa imperiale sono conservati molto bene

Ein gewaltiges Anwesen das durch seine Geschichte und Lage in dieser wunderschönen Landschaft besticht. Sollte man gesehen haben.

Die traumhaft gelegene Villen-Anlage vor den Toren der Stadt, ist im Privateigentum. Daher Besichtigungen nur in der Saison und geführt über das Tourist-Information-Office möglich (1-mal wöchentlich). Die komplexe Terassenanlage sowie die wunderbare Fresken-Ausschmückung in samtlichen Räumen des Piano Nobile sind ganz besonders (erinnert an den Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola).

Очень интересное место, тут открываются прекрасные виды с виллы, на территории виллы можно фотографироваться, прогуливаться и наслаждаться красотами.

Semplicemente meravigliosa e maestosa, immersa nel Parco del San Bartolo polmone verde della città di Pesaro. Un posto da non perdere per gli appassionati del genere.

Come avrete capito dalle mie recensioni, ogni mio viaggio deve avere anche dei contatti culturali e storici. La villa imperiale e' stata un punto di partenza. Ho visitato poi villa Caprile, nei tempi villa papale. Un bel giardino botanico dove esistono anche giochi d'acqua nascosti. Simpatico.

mi è piaciuta la locazione della villa (all'interno del parco del Monte San Bartolo) e la pace che ne deriva
