Perfect spot for a pre dinner cocktail. Beautiful bar, with much history - though, the bar feels a little run down.€6 for a spritz was an excellent price, but was surprised to be served a 3€ bottle of water when I had asked for a glass - perhaps my Southern roots, but a glass of water should always accompany a cocktail or a coffee - for free.Don't miss the upstairs which has a great collection of 19th century rooms, and a peculiar collection of Italian unification history.

For its history, its decor and its location. Coffee desert and drinks are excellent. Staff are excellent.

Apart from it's marvellous history - you can have a coffee, a snack or just sit and read while you re-charge the batteries. No one hassles you here. The green room is a place between the coffee bar and restaurant where students used to get some quiet study time. It's nice that this room now allows the public to do the same - read the paper or a book or quietly contemplate the world - it's free!

Whilst staying in Padova for business we had a business lunch at Caffe Pedrocchi. It was the best meal that I had while in Padova. The entire group enjoyed their meals and this is defininitely somewhere I would revisit. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The price was reasonable for the quality of food. The meals were served promptly and with care. Food was well presented and tasted wonderful. I cannot recommend this caffe enough!

Elegant and high end a must go to place for an excellent coffee and pastry. When in Padova and in the historic center, I always stop by this caffe.

This cafe has an interesting history and the building is interesting too. We just had snacks in the cafe, but the is also a classy restaurant that was quite busy. There were nice cakes and sandwiches in the cafe and the coffee was good.

Typical and historical place to take your breakfast or lunch, or just a coffee and enjoy the great architecture of one of the most beautiful places in the centre of Padova.

In the best tradition of European café, Culture and History are all around. In the quiet atmosphere of elegance courtesy and respect, there are newspaper readers, intellectuals, students, chess players. Seeing that I was reading a book about Palazzo della Ragione I had just visited, Max the waiter offered to show me around and explained a bit of the history of the place (check the bullet hole). If you are interested you are in for a treat. Make sure to tip him, he deserves it. For more history there is the Risorgimento museum upstairs.

A caffe with history.Go, read the historical references on site and enjoy a great cafe.Attached is a museum dedicated to The Risorgimento revolution.

The meal was okay, the service was mediocre, although the cafe was busy. If you are there, check it out, have a cup of coffee or a snack, but don't bother to go out of your way to get there.

Caffè Pedrocchi is an historical place in town, so you can't miss it. Go inside and taste a Pedrocchino, but be careful! Do not sit down! It could be expensive ;)

It's a nice atmosphere. Quiet and nice.We ordered their specialty coffee. A nice combination of mint and coffee, but too sweet for my taste buds.

This is in all the guidebooks, and historically, it's important, but I would try and avoid spending much money there. It's kind of expensive and a bit snooty, and with so many other nice places to go, why bother.

I loved this place , old style elegance and formal service.A espresso served on a marble topped table .

I heard a lot about Cafe Pedrocchi , read about it in books . But found it to be an avg place though . May be the history associated with it is rich but now its a good location to go near the university. It has lot may people , fully crowded
