Great connection between the two sides of the river Adige, especially with the small rapids that run beneath it. Good photograph location.

The Scaligeri Castle and fishtail topped turrets and walls of the bridge offer a step back in time. You can see the city of Verona and surrounding hillsides and snow capped mountains and stroll across the scenic bridge for free. There is a museum fee to go into the Castle. It is a must in Verona.

The whole world envies the Italian beauties and ''Ponte Scaligero'' is one of them.A pride of the city, Verona is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and this bridge it's a beautiful scenery. Built by hundreds years ago it has endured through the centuries to be shot down during WWII, later rebuilt with the original parts just as it once was. Absolutely this is one of the top attractions of the city.

Visitors can walk along the bridge for free and even climb up in certain places to get a better view of the river. Just be careful on those steps and ledges, especially when the place is crowded!

Do not miss if you are near the castle.Just admire the environment and look to the river's flow. Walk around, up and down.

Wonderful small bridge with great history, located just beside the Castle. Lovely to take a stroll over and relax at the other side and enjoy the views

This bridge belongs to the compound of Castelvecchio and you can admire it from afar or walk across it and take heaps of photos. You can even sit and watch the passing parade. It is indeed such a lovely piece of architecture in Verona. Crossing the bridge is an experience in itself. It was all but destroyed in 1945 but after being meticulously restored it is again beautiful.

Fascinating and wonderful historical bridge with a great view. It's wonderful to take a stroll and relax a while there.

Go see this crenelated fortified bridge and imagine how the ruler exacted toll from the passing river traffic.

A rather lovely fortified bridge with good views of the castle. A bit of a hotspot for beggars though.

The history surrounding this bridge is incredible. It was great just being to be there as the sun went down and to walk across it.

Worth to walk up and down and take lots of picture, expecially during sunset. Kept in perfect state, as well as the castle, it makes you feel back in time.

This bridge spans the River Adige and the vision of the bridge at night is just magic. I suggest that you add this to your list, you can cross it or see it from the next bridge after visiting Piazzale Castel San Pietro on the hill overlooking Verona.

You can walk on the bridge without any entrance fees. There is a museum next to it, but you do not need to get in the museum to access the bridge. From there, there is a nice other view (new angle) to the city. Nice to do if you have time, but not a must.
