I love... I love Maranello! Barbara created a perfect 3 day schedule for my boyfriends surprise birthday weekend. The attention to detail was incredible and included all the elements I asked for. The added surprise birthday cake, makes I love Maranello the best tour company I've ever dealt with. Thank you to everyone who made the weekend extraordinary!

Small city but beautiful, just 20km from Modena. Home of Ferrari factory since the early 1940s, great Ferrari museum (must see) and interesting factory with F1 test track (factory trip available). Good local food, nice people. If you are a Ferrari fun you can drive a Ferrari sport car (around 100€ for 1/2hour).

We travel to a family own cheese factory and were able to along with the local purchase fresh Parmesan cheese which we ate long our travels of Italy. So Good!! next we travel to another family run business. This time it was Balsamic Vinegar. We able to see the barrels and was explain how the vinegar was made. We also were able to taste the different vinegar's that they made there from the newest made to the oldest aged. This was a great experience, I was able to purchase the vinegar to take home.

I wasn't initially planning on doing this. Thought about it, but we were traveling with a group of 13 people, and I wasn't going to let everybody else wait. But, all my family were encouraging it, and Florini (sp?) made a great (no pressure, but persistent) sales pitch to me. As we were eating lunch he said hi and a word or two. A bit later, he asked if I had thought about it. No pressure the whole time, but he added some bonus to get my mind churning. He even let me take my wife and daughter along.... and that was AWESOME. He also let a few kids in our group go through the sim in the store. If you're ever in Maranello already, please make sure you set aside 1 hour to do this. It is so worth it. They will take you through freeway, where you can let it loose, and through the hills, where you can feel the car's performance and gripping power as you wind through the windy roads. I drove the Ferrari California, which was surprisingly comfortable as a potential daily driver. But, step on the throttle and it's a whole new world. Our guide, Luka (sp?) encouraged me to go pedal to the metal whenever opportunities allow. Need to pass 7 cars in a row. No problem! Winding hilly road, No problem! The car feels so connected and planted I'm sure I could push it harder. Hit 100 mph at least on the small stretches of open road. They will let you know where the cops and speed traps are. I went in the afternoon, and so there was a few cars to pass from time to time. Honestly, I don't mind as they give my mind a break. Otherwise, it's just like what you'd see on racing sim, but in REAL LIFE! How cool is that. Of course I got the video for it, and they knocked down the price to 15 euro when I asked. Also Luka took pictures of us at the top of the hill. Didn't count that into the trip as the 2 videos I got were 25 and 33 min total. Also as time allowed, he showed us the Ferrari factory, and a number of other points of interests around Maranello.... My biggest problem now is that I want one. Time to start saving up I guess.

I went to Maranello a few weeks ago on a Ferrari driving experience trip with another company; Grand Tourist. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! Driving a 458 Spider through the Italian countryside was incredible! The Museum in Maranello was insane and driving on the test track was equally fab! For any driving enthusiast let alone Ferrari fan, this is the ultimate trip! The 5* hotel was an added bonus too.. felt like a rock star haha!

Posive=Best impressive sensation in my life.Negative=No negative at all. They were the cheapest in Maranello to rent a Ferrari. They were able to negotiate and I paid 100 euros for 20 minutes. If I could pay I would have paid the whole day for sure. It´s a dream.

If you love ferrari, keep your head up...they are everywhere. Typical Emilia-Romagna town. Small, quaint and full of history. Maranello is Detroits answer to muscle cars made in the USA but only better....The town breathes and lives Ferrari...What a sight to see the majority of people wearing Ferrari uniforms of some type. The Museum is what is expected, the test drive facilities are everywhere and the ambiance is Ferrari based weather you are talking about F1 or the new cars. Food, bar none is local, fresh and possibly the best DOP based products including wines. How can you go wrong and all in a rolling, country setting.highly recommend if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big City.

I love Maranello were the cheapest 'test drive' we could find in the area. We took two cars and got a 10% discount. The cars were clean and obviously drove well :) the 'guides' were excellent, and actually encouraged us to take the cars to the extreme. I highly recommend this experience for car lovers.

I would buy a lambo - especially as they let you see the factory, unlike Ferrari. Anyway, the museums were also ace - lambo and ferrari - plus the factory tour of ducato - awesome day out - small group - great chaperone! - plus a special private collection bonus!

I came to Italy with my wife for our 20th Wedding Anniversary, it was a long overdue trip, mainly for us to be together, whilst indulging in my passion for Italian Exotics, we were in Maranello for the Ferrari Museum and had planned for me to drive a Lamborghini Aventador, I did the Gallardo yesterday :-)Sadly none of these were available, other Lambos, yes, but not an Aventador, boy was I disappointed, I wasn't going to get my 10 min ride for 200 euros. We were heading back to our car when a lady from one of the 3 sales tents in the car park asked me over, "you here to drive a Ferrari?" I said no and explained our plans. She then proceeded to offer me a 1 hour drive into the mountains for 300 euros including my wife as a passenger and the recording of a video, although having this on CD was another 20 euros... yes you read it right 1 hour.I asked my wife if she wanted to go and we were actually thinking of doing just the 30 minute drive, but the guy who was taking us over to the car persuaded me that for the extra 100 euros it would be an unforgettable drive, so for we paid the 300 and off we went.Well to say that my wife was scared to death and feeling very sick by the end it was fantastic, if you love these cars, don't pay 120 or 150 euros for 10 minutes, find the extra and do a 1 hour drive, it was brill and your copilot is very helpful explaining when to use the right pedal and when to back off, I have no idea how fast I went but I know I was flat out (within the limits of the road) whenever possible and on the way up into the mountains that was quite often, and the only reason I don't know is because I was very focused on the road and the bends, h and other cars just seem to move over to make way for you coming through. If you are coming to Maranello to drive, make sure you come here...

Fantastic experience...my husband got to drive a Ferrari California for an hour up into the mountains with the guide and I went along as passenger in the back. He thoroughly enjoyed the drive especially when he could put his foot down on the open roads...much to my horror as I am not a great fan of speed or a good passenger...but he didnt want me being left out. When we arrived back (in one piece...but feeling very travel sick after all the windey mountain roads) he was like the cat that had got the cream...well worth the money, we got a whole hour for 300 Euros compared to up the road where you got 10 mins for 120-150 Euros, would recommend it to any Ferrari fan.....

If I could do it all over again, I'd do it IN A HEARTBEAT! If you truly love Ferrari, talk to Barbara. What a great experience this was for my husband. We were going to Italy for our wedding anniversary and, his birthday is around the same time, so I decided to surprise him with Ferrari. I purchased the Program Experience Plus. Barbara was so great with working with our schedule. We took the train that morning from Venice so she adjusted our tour to accommodate us. I had asked to push back the test drive for my husband toward the end so I could surprise him with it. When he found out he was going to be able to drive the 430, the look on his face was priceless! Hugo, the owner of the car, was so sweet! Very cool to be able to see the museum, the bus tour, have lunch, and drive a Ferrari IN Maranello. Highly recommended!

Imagine you can see, touch, hear, drive any Ferrari car in this town. You should take it for a round for any time ...you have money to spend on it
