We recently visited the Ferrari museum and were very pleased with the exhibits. The hall of victories for F1 was very well done! You are able to take pics throughout the museum and there is an F1 simulator there that seems quite popular however maybe a little pricey.
Great place for car enthusiasts, modern and vintage cars, as well as good design. It is worth to take the kids and a camera. I would recommend !!!
I grew up with posters of Ferrari and Lamborghini cars on my bedroom wall. When I got a chance to visit the Museo Ferrari, Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari, and Lamborghini museum, I couldn't miss the opportunity. This was the best museum overall, with beautiful cars and interesting exhibits. One of my favourites was a room where they played (Ferrari) clips from Hollywood movies and TV shows - perhaps every movie where a Ferrari was featured. Really cool stuff.
Wow! There is lots to do here from pit stop races to simulators to just seeing the history. Well worth a visit. And if you can stretch to a drive in one, it's worth it!
November 2013 visit. Museum a bit disappointing. Lots to see but captions are sparse in explaining what you are viewing, and in the case of an important contribution to society in general, describing the history of the car you are viewing. Took our 3 sons, and for us was worth the effort to get there, but do not recommend unless you think Ferrari is a god, or a way of life! The town on the other hand is a great place to stop on your way somewhere!
Of course is great to see the models at exposition, who doesn´t like to admire a Ferrari.I was expecting for a museum so incredible as the Ferrari ´s are.And I was disappointed also to see only a model of La Ferrari , instead of the real car.And the prices at their souvenir store were impossible too. It´s not a cheap ticket and you probably will travel there only for it, better think twice.
I visited the famed Ferrari Museum on a driving holiday in 2014. I love cars and always had so it was a boy hood dream to see this place. On the weekends most cafe`s around the area were closed so planning for lunch around local villages on a friday is not a good idea. The museum is a nice mix of history with vintage F1 cars, F40 and limited edition road cars. Not much hands on stuff but some serious car porn is on show. I had a play on the F1 simulator on my way out which was fun (25 Euro) to cap off a nice afternoon. To get around everything you will need about 40-60mins depending how long you will be gawking at all the history of the prancing horse. If you are into cars you would not miss it .. its one for the bucket list!
If you are a ferrarista this is a must visit plenty of history and stunning vehicles, the whole town lives and breathes ferrari from the workers to the residents.
I doubt that anyone would visit Maranello unless they had at least a passing interest in Ferrari and this museum is an essential part of any visit to a town which simply lives and breathes Ferrari. The cars and other exhibits are well presented and allow a much more 'up close and personal' view than is common at automotive museums. A wide range of both the racing and road cars is on display but to get a more complete perspective on Ferrari history you also need to visit the Casa Enzo Ferrari museum in nearby Modena. There is a convenient shuttle bus connecting the two and a discounted price for a doubled up visit.Well worth the time spent!!
Stunning vehicles , so interesting technology was of a very high standard. Went on a school trip few years ago, the staff are excellent and presentable. Gift shop not as overpriced as you'd expect , a cool place to go and see.
Near Modena, at the city of Maranelo there is this museum of the great legend of italian industry and myth of status to the world.
Excellent Very nice recommend it to all lovers of sports cars to spend a day in their dreams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even if you are not a crazy fan, Museo Ferrari is a good entertainment option. Exhibition is impressive with lots of cars, pictures and movies. The F1 Champion's Hall is an amazing place where you can admire the winning cars, pilots pictures and their helmets. The cafeteria has good snacks and coffe. Before leaving, check the gift shop out for souvenirs.
Great rare carsLegendary racing artifactsCool souvenirsSome new carsJust standing around outside watching the Ferraris drive by every five minutes or so is worth the trip.
A beautiful place where you can breathe passion energy and enthusiasm. Great display of different styles of Ferrari cars. Really unique!
