Exceptional ruins. We were fortunate and the weather was cloudy but dry. The sights and scenery are spectacular. Also keep your eyes out for the very rare Scicilian goats.

It was raining the day we were here and it was still an amazing visit. We heard the developed area around the temples diminished the experience, but this was not the case for us. The condition of the temples more than makes up for the surrounding area.

Under 25 pay 5euros which is reasonable. Nice walk, could do with more information in English, the guides were only in Italian and not worth buying at all.

Why have so many Greek temples fallen to the action of earthquakes, and the Concord Temple still stands sound? No one really knows, but it might have something to do with a clay layer under the rock that acts like a shock absorber. In any event, it is a beautiful and elegant structure that will strike you at the core of your imagination.

The Valle of the Templi outside Agrigento does not disappoint. Spend a half day or even a fiull day strolling among the greek and roman runs and reconstructions. delightful.

I have visited this site several times and now I am fed up with the whole experience. This criticism is aimed at the people who manage the temples not at the site itself. The site seems to be managed by no one, we parked our car in the car park, a wet dusty patch of ground,on leaving the machine doesn't,t work some dodgy guy tells you this asks you for 3 euros and unhooks a chain to let you out. The toilets next to him are a porta cabin dirty and dark. This is supposed to be a world class site but everything about it screams mis management, the ticket office is a shack,no facilities on site. Where does the money go? It costs 10 euros the same price as Pompeii or Herculaneum. When will the people responsible for heritage in Sicily wake up and deliver 21st century facilities at their sites.

This temple is the most complete of the several in the area and it's location is quite spectacular--perched on a hill overlooking the city and the sea. Well worth a visit to Agrigento for this site alone!

Beautiful Greek temple, built c.440-430 BC. Sculpture of Icarus is located in front of the temple as well as an appr. 500 years of olive tree

This temple is the logo of UNESCO world heritage, and it is easy to see why. It is magnificent, and the approach along a wide promenade creates a stunning vision to this large and wonderfully preserved and restored temple. One can look at the temple from 3 angles but not get close enough to climb, which is good because it helps to keep it in such good condition. I could not stop taking pictures.

Spent 4 hours walking around, it is magnificent! Stayed at the hotel Villa Athena, so got the full lit up night view as well. A must do!

This was not the first visit to these wonderful temples, and probably not the last time either. The location, views and ruins are awesome.

What can you say about temples that are thousands of years old and still standing. We love history and were in awe of these temples.

One of the wonders of this world. A bit of a walk, but with all that well preserved history, you won't even feel.

This is most complete temple and is in a stunning position on a high ridge. The setting is superb, blue sea in the distance and surrounded by Sicilan countryside.
