And yes, during winter, opening hours are a bit limited: 2 days pr week for individual travelers, but small groups (12 persons) can order extra opening any day of the week :) And, the Viking feasts are being held every evening. Thank you so much for your good review! And, we will remember to inform better on the length of the walk to the Viking ship - it is 1500 meters and for most people a good 20 min walk. Beautiful scenery and some games and things to do on the way - but still 1,5 km. At the end, the Viking ship is waiting and most of our guest thinks it is worth the walk. Welcome back anytime - it is so good to hear that you really have explored and enjoyed the museum.

Thank you!! Quite a lot of our guests enjoy the Viking ship and the activities - you can participate in the periode 15.06 - 15.08 (inclusive in entrance ticket). Actually, rowing the Viking ship is probably our most popular activity. Thanks again!

The exhibition halls are new, and we find them modern and interesting. Though, we value your point of view.
