The first stop in Prague and visited one of the best bar in the Czech Republic. Cocktails were great level. Bar but lacked a bit of atmosphere and fun. Time to time we felt that the bartenders work is bored and tired.

We had a three night stay in Prague for my husband's 50th Birthday and had two visits here. Everything was top class. From the charming door greeter to the delicious cocktails. The Mango & Red Orange Caiprioska is a must try. Pre-book to guarantee a place at the bar to watch the master cocktail makers at work. Loved it.

Nice bar with true drinks - good value. Nice place for relax with friends. Nereby are many interestinv places where to go before or after. Highly recommended.

Our favourite bar in Prague! Atmospheric, moody, sophisticated... ticks every box. Wonderful range of cocktails, and we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived, seemed a similar cost to a night on the cocktails a UK city, but a far superior experience. Champagne cocktails are particularly recommended, and the bar snacks (nachos, nuts, cheese etc) are quite generous portions. We booked in advance of our stay in Prague, and just had to book a return visit later in the week. Please don't think you will be able to just drop by and get a table, this place is seriously in demand, you must reserve a table in advance, on both visits we were able to walk smugly in to our table as a queue of disappointed tourists were being turned away at the door. We will always remember our nights in this bar, wonderful.

Recently stayed in Prague for a 3 night break at the Pure White Hotel and they recommended we visited this bar. We are so glad we found it as it only added to a memorable stay and a great end to a Saturday evening.In short a great bar, buzzing atmosphere, attentive service, with innovative cocktails made by professional craftsmen.Congratulations.P.S: It is hugely popular and gets very busy so get there early or be prepared to wait fore a table to become available - it's worth it!! Excellent value for money.

First city I have been in where almost every bar required pre-booking! We could not get in on Saturday night so booked for the following evening - sadly nothing special - the cocktails were...cocktails, our party of 8 were stuck in a dark corner we could have been anywhere.

The cocktails are true masterpieces of their own! Staff is amazingly friendly and talented when it comes to their work! Nothing but respect from București, România!

Having drank in bars all around the world I can safely say that this is one of the best. We walked in without a reservation, but they found a spot for us at the bar. The friendly bartenders were serving up some amazing cocktails, and absinthe. They were happy to make suggestions, or make something to your taste. The bar itself is a wonderful place to sit, and you can easily do so for hours. It is a great cocktail bar, without being pretentious. Take into account the reasonable price for the quality drinks, and this is a must visit.

This was a great experience for me and my partner, we came looking for it after reading good reviews and after our first time here we booked again for the next day so went twice in total in our 4 day stay in Prague.The cocktails were very nice, and the staff were great and gave you a personal service. Was nice to chat to them and discuss different kinds of cocktails which he they made and let us try and suggested different kinds. If I come back to Prague I will definitely return here!

We absolutely loved this place, serve was great, the waiter managed to get us a table even though we had not booked,we sat at the bar. The cocktails were fab, a must visit if you are visiting prague and love a good cocktail

I came here to try specially prepared absinthe with my friends, this place was in a bit further part of town than we were staying, but walking distance of where we were in Prague 1, the Old Square etc. The drink selection and the service really made this place excellent, along with the decor of the place.

Everything about this place is fantastic!The staff, the interior, the music, the atmosphere... and of course, the coctails!!!Going to Prague without visiting Hemingway Bar is just plain stupid. :-)Thanx for last night, Hamingway staff. See you tonight!

After being in some bars and pubs in prague , and alot more around europe. We found yhe hamingway. Its by far the best! Service was outstanding, drinks were amazing and the whole atmosphere makes you feel like you just entered the 50'.So to conclude it all: a must visit place! Keep up the good work and dont change until next time we come to prague! Cause this will be our first stop!

Absolutely loved this bar! 4 of us went on a Friday night for 30th birthday drinks during a trip to Prague.We booked a table upstairs in advance based on the reviews I had read on here.It is a tiny little place with a couple of little nooks and crannies downstairs and upstairs is even smaller. The cocktails were absolutely fantastic and the waiter (it is table service) really made the experience for us.We were invited to experiment with our favourite liquors and challenge the mixologists to meet our flavour requests! The cocktail menu itself though is fantastic and the whole place had a great feel about it. We could have stayed there all night and I would go back to Prague again even just for this place alone!We went as friends but I can't wait to take someone special enough back to have a romantic evening there !All of the staff were extremely smiley and friendly - it appeared formal but was totally relaxed and fun. Anyone visiting Prague must spend an evening here.

i had read a lot about this bar before our trip to Prague and planned to visit as both my wife and I love our cocktails. Luckily we got there early as we hadn't booked. We were able to have a table as long as we vacated it by 20:00 hrs ( it was 18:00 at the time) The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about his subjects and explained a lot about the cocktails but not in a patronising way. The quality of the cocktails were very good, they do try to push you towards the "house" cocktails, but others were available if you wished. They were beautifully presented and some were very unique. The service was second to none, however I don't know if we would have got this attention later in the evening when it was busy. We tried six different cocktails and left very merry and very pleased we had found is place.
