在小城区一定要穿街走巷,不能错过热闹之外的地方,常有惊喜。聂鲁达街每个大门上标记很有趣,比如三把小提琴、两个太阳等等。小城区有一定坡度,红色电车穿梭相当有感觉。
Another interesting part of the city. However, we found it a little too commercial, with lots of bars, restaurants, shops catering to tourists and not always very authentic.
We walked up here from Charles bridge. It is up a bit of a hill, but well worth it. Some lovely architecture.
Just walk around and admire the buildings. Had a great time just enjoying the scenery and architecture.
This area is great for pubs, clubs and cafes, and restaurants - it is a short tram ride, or a 15minute walk from the old town, and well worth making your way over here. The streets, and gardens are all cobbled and narrow, and full of czech's. So, if you want to visit an area where the locals are, this is it. The prices are definitely cheaper than the old town area (which is still nice). But, 2 Large Beers for 78CZK is pretty awesome!I took advice to come here, from a Czech woman I know, and I am glad I did, it was a great experience, and I will be back!
Undoubtedly the most romantic place in Prague: from the awe-inspiring "Gardens below the Prague Castle" (a must-see especially in spring and early autumn!) to the sprawling series of connected palaces, courtyards and gardens which cover almost 70,000 square meters, Mala Strana definitely deserves an entire day visit!
Lovely peacefull setting, little square with more shops, bars and restaurants, easy access to the castle
Lesser Town of Prague was founded as a town by the Czech king Přemysl Otakar II in 1257. After extensive fire (in 1541) the new buildings were established in the Renaissance and the Baroque styles. The St.Nicholas Church at the Malostranské náměstí square is most beautiful Baroque building in Prague. Only part of my photos is from Malostranské náměstí square. Not all buildings on my photos are important in history. (Note: The fire in the Lesser Town of Prague in 1541 like the fire in Chicago (USA) in 1871 had given rise to a new architecture of the world importance.)
Mala Strana is a cute neighborhood to walk around, enjoy the buildings and "inhale" some more of the beauty that the city of Prague has to offer. Do not miss it!
A walk through the past -but everything is converted for the tourism.Obviously like that.Plenty of small places to dine, or to shop souvenirs.
Such a beautiful area of prague, just stroll around and explore the many streets and buildings. Narrow streets and impressive buildings!
You can see where Bach and Beethoven lived. Not too far away and near the mall you can see where Mozart lived. Walk up the hill to the tower. Stroll over to Hradcany. Enjoy a coffee at Starbucks near the Parliament. You will love it here.
After the hustle and bustle of Old Town and the Castle District, we enjoyed the beauty and quiet of Mala Strana. Its charming, winding streets were wonderful to explore and we were thrilled to find the church where " the Infant of Prague" is located. Take the time to see this lovely section of Prague!
Much quieter than the rest of Prague, with cobbled streets, some lovely architecture and lots of bars and restaurants, some very tucked away. I stayed in a hotel in Mala Strana and it was lovely as there was virtually no traffic and it's only a short walk to Petrin Hill, Charles Bridge and the Castle
Unless on the main road up to the Castle, the back streets of Mala Strana are much quieter than the old town, lots of lovely old buildings, cafes and bars, well worth an afternoon stroll around in your way up or back for the Castle
