I've booked 2 tickets for the New Years Eve 2015. As a tourist I did not know what to expect so I took the 70 euro ticket and did not reserve a table that was over 1000 euro. The place has not one single tiny place where to put your drink if you don't reserve a table. So you just left there with your drink in your hand and your bag, not being able to dance and enjoy yourself. It was a disaster. I left at 1:30 am .So much for my new years eve. I decided to try again so went the following Friday on a normal day got a table but for the next 1hr20min was just us 2,the bottle of champagne and the staff. We did not even finished our bottle it felt too weird as the only customers there. I personally think for such an exclusive club, as they claim to be ,they should do some amends to facilitate their customers needs.
Night club in monaco... Cool place if you like to see and being seen...Be aware it us dark , load and extremely expensive!!!
This disco/club is notorious as a haunt for the F1 drivers after the Monaco Grand Prix - we went here the weekend after & the place is truly amazing. The sound / acoustics have been set up perfectly to make it a really enjoyable place to listen and/or dance. The atmosphere & decor is truly amazing. Located a bit of a way out from the Casino Square area but if you don't mind a walk then you'll be ok. As for the price of the drinks - well just forget it for one night eh.
Jimmy'Z in Monaco is a sensational nightclub where the roof slides back into the mountain ! The ambience of this World class disco, bar restaurant is magical in every way. It is in The Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and resort in Monaco and well worth the visit when you got here. Actually everything about Monte Carlo is magical and one gets a great feeling being there. We stayed at The Hermitage with a room overlooking the beautiful harbour and Royal Palace.Whilst there we visited HRH Prince Albert about putting a Hard Rock Cafe in the Principality. I was accompanied by Robert Earl the former Chairman of Hard Rock Worldwide. Don't miss The Casino and The Royal Palace on your trip and see where Princess Grace is buried Let her RIP
Luxury, fashion, beautiful, great music, billiant sound.. deffo best place in MC if you don't look at the prices :)
Kinda fun, but wildy expensive by any standards ( I party in NYC, London, Montreal ) lots of old rich guys hoping to hook up with $1000 dollar a night hookers, which is fun to watch. Oh do not approach Princess Stephanie, unless you like gorilla type bodyguards in your face. All in all it is an experience.
The only reason Jimmy'z is busy is for the lack of other choices in Monte-Carlo. We were there for the season-closing party. Music was terrible - at least half of it not danceable. The dance-floor is very small, and was crowded, even though the place was not full. You can see the outside, since there is no wall, but can't actually sit or dance there. Overall not worth the over-priced entry and drinks.
Jimmyz was incredible fun, we went for a once in a lifetime experience! We had a table (there were 9 of us) , set next to the "lake", table service was flawless and the music was great.Cristal was 800 EUR a bottle and I think we paid something like 300 EUR for bottles of Grey Goose. You don't go home with much change....
Ok after the initial shock of a shot of sambuca €57 each! Dom P €450 ..We threw in the towel and knew it was going to be an expensive night! 2 females we managed to spend nearly €800 between us but we did love it, we partied in the DJ booth with boy George and co brilliant night ..Jimmyz really is another world! ;) x
The view was spectacular at night. The food incredible! We ate here 2 times as it was also very close to the hotel.
Ok it's not a bad club and it has all the glamour of Monaco but sometimes you feel that you are being robbed and that is the way I felt at Jimmy'z...25 euros for a half pint bottle of Heineken is just ridiculous
We werent impressed by the club at all. There are a lot of very young people drinking as if there is no tomorrow and behaving in the same way. One would think high prices select well educated people but this doesnt seem to be the case here. It is more for young boys and girls who want to get wasted and show off infront of their friends and in between you find a few old grandpas hoping to be able to get closer to these girls. Quite a sad picture to be honest !
Great place indeed, easy to access, packed with nice people and fantasic music and yes, it is possible to get a drink as well.I recommend this place if you are visiting Monaco.
To start with: this is the new " winter-time" JIMMY'Z, that opened almost a year before, next to the Casino ( the local friends told me that it used to be another club there, before). For those who knows it, the JIMMY'Z is one of the world's legendary night clubs for more than 30 yrs now and it used to host the Cote d' Azur's most glamorous nights out on the town. It tried to replace the famous STUDIO 54's atmosphere and succeeded in. It has seen every celebrity pass it's doors: Royalties and uber-rich, stars and models they have all been there. I 'm talking about the Sporting Club Complex " in season" wonderful venue. The new " off season" one, is a bit tiny, and not the most spectacular club in the world. It's more a 70s disco but it's buzzin and a lot of fun. It's definitely the premier night club in Monte Carlo. If you want to go somewhere late that attracts a younger,faster-living crowd donning the latest labels, then you have to be there- but not before 1.00 am !!It continues to enchant a chic international clientele who come to have fun, to relax or to celebrate a special event : sport stars, fashion stars, show biz stars, billionaires you'll meet them all there. In a very special atmosphere it still attracts the world's biggest names to the turntables. If you want to share a dance floor with Rihanna, Leonardo di Caprio, George Clooney, Jenson Button,Roberto Cavalli,Bono to name but a few, here you are, then !ATTENTION : As it's not really spacey and usually packed - Tues to Sat from 11.00 to dawn - if you want to have a table to sit you have to make a reservation days before with minimum a bottle of champagne to consume. The cheapest champagne is approx 320 euros. If you prefer the bar, the first drink is around 30 euros- even if it's a.. mineral water !! And I wouldn't recommend for a music request to the DJs. They're all pretty well known and the regular guest DJs list includes Boy George, among them. So, dress to kill !Last but not least : the JIMMY'Z key-person is the charismatic Antonio, A genius, smiley, energetic, adorable guy, the eye & the ear and the sweetheart of the club.Bravo Antonio, well done!
My daughter and I danced the night away to the amazing DJ -- I loved the outside area to get some fresh air -after dancing - great smiles and the light systems -- they did a small tribute to Donna Summers which was fab--even the bouncers and the bartenders were cool -- although we did not have a reserved table they put one on our table -- loved it -- don't go with a typical American attitude and you will enjoy it also
