piramida (pyramid hill)

A nice place for a walk. From the top you can see the city and the surroundings. It takes around 20 minutes to rich the top of the hill.

Definitely the place to climb if you have time. The weather do not matter. Nice to see the vineyard around the hill. On top there are remnants of the castle dated back to 12 century with pictures an explanations from excavations. Then it is possible to walk on through the forest. Same good for jogging as well.

Very good view around the city . I recommend for photographers they can make beautiful sunset and sunrise form that place!

If you want to see Maribor from up above you must walk up the Piramida Hill. Great view and fresh air.

It is a nice hill in the North part of the city. You need 1-1.5 hours for a walk from the city center and back. I would not say that the view is scenic or something like that. I would recommend to visit the hill when the grape, which grows there is ready :)

The hill is located in the northern part of the town. It is right next to the town park. You can get to the top via different ways. The one that takes you through the wineyards is the best one. The view of the town centre and beyond is amazing. If you visit Maribor, you should definitely take the time and ascent the Piramida hill.

I recently traveled to Maribor and I was taken to Piramida Hill. It wasn't an ease ascent, but the view you get once you get up there compensates you for all the efford. If you visit Maribor it surely worth a visit.

North of the city center. A short but demanding walk uphill through the wineyards brings you to the chapel where you have a nice view on the town and the Drava, the river.

From Piramida, you have a great view from city of Maribor. worth to go there. It´s a nice wolk till there, and you can enjoy some nature and some wine fields that are near. Great place to sit for a while and just enjoy and relax

To see Maribor from above you don't need a plane. Just climb a bit more than 350 stairs and enjoy the view arround Maribor, Pohorje hill and Drava valley. Go down at the back of the hill, pass the super place on your left called Vinska klet Brigadir and Anderlič and follow the road down just behind Anderlič and you'll find yourself in the city park at 3 ribniki, which also has a 5* restaurant called Gostiln pri 3 ribnikih.

Very easy to reach from the city centre via the city park. But just need to be sure which trail to take. i was lost and a helpful local pointed me to the right direction and i hiked up to the top under the hot sun. I was the only one on the top. Very good view of the town up from there. It is a good start of your day trip in Maribor as it give you some orientation of this small town from Piramida.
