The Alphabetical Tower is a famous landmark of Batumi,near the Black Sea,in front of Radisson Blu. The Tower is lit up at night,making it very beautiful.

This is not overly all that impressive, but it is unique with the alphabet and the neon lights. It is right near the city centre on the beach and promenade, but best viewed from a distance and at night with the lights.

Situated at the harbor end of the beach promenade the Alphabet Tower shows the Georgian alphabet winding like a helix around the tower. Already in daylight worth a photo the tower comes to real life in the dark. In changing colors illuminated the alphabet gets really flashy. Together with the Ferris Wheel and the modern monument of Nino and Ali this part of the promenade is worth to spend some time with tripod and camera

An impressive structure showing the 33 letters of the Georgian Alphabet it highlights the issues facing its citizenry: they speak Georgian and have their own alphabet; most know Russian because of the history of being part of the USSR and that their economy and tourism trade relies on Russians - so they learn another language in Cyrillic script and then they learn what is the world's International language in Latin script. We loved the skyline of the city, including the empty structure that was intended to be an International University IT centre.

Impressive landmark building with the letters of the Georgian alphapet written from bottom to top on a structure that ressembles a DNA helix If you read in your guide book that its dome holds a restaurant or such, forget it. It is closed and its future is uncertain.The same is true btw for the second landmark tower, which was supposed to be home to the technical university of Batumi - it also EMPTY.

эта башня вместе с колесом обозрения притянула наше внимание еще по дороге из Кобулети, честно говоря, не ожидали увидеть такие современные постройки в Батуми, но приятно удивились им, особенно очаровательна набережная при подсветке вечером )

Приметили еще из далека эту башню, вечером гуляли по набережной и дошли до нее, жалко, что она оказалась пустышкой, ее бы доработать, предположим, под ресторан на верху, и было бы вообще замечательно, место предрасполагает

Повторю отзывы ниже-стоит посетить вечером. Очень красивая подсветка.Хотя, и днем тоже можно глянуть- все рядом)Пойдете по набережной- не пропустите.

Ne yazık ki bu güzel kuleye çıkılmıyor en azından biz gittiğimizde herhangi bir yerden çıkma imkanı yoktu ve ilgilenen de bulunmuyordu.

Очень красиво выглядит вечером, как и весь город благодаря подсветке. А так же служит местом встречи для людей

Грузинский алфавит разместить на спирали ДНК... Очень креативно! Ночью очень красиво светится и украшает окресности.

Questa torre, insieme ad alcune altre sul lungomare di Batumi, mostra un lato ultra-moderno di questa città, che devo dire a me è piaciuto (soprattutto vedendolo dal mare). Girando nel quartiere dove si trova questa torre (che credo sia chiusa, perchè non era indicato il modo di accedervi) si nota che tutto è un pò "in costruzione", quindi immagino che se questo ritmo di sviluppo continuerà Batumi avrà un aspetto davvero interessante tra qualche anno.

Если вы любитель подобных достопримечательностей, приходите сюда вчереом. В ночное время башню подствечивают со всех сторон.

Batum Karadenizin parisi gibi bir yer Batuma yakın Türkiye köyleri de güzel Karadeniz bir başka güzel. Heleki böyle güzellikler görünce insan daha bir hoş oluyor :)
