景点印象
并没有想象中的那么好,只是一个中心加上几栋古老建筑,在欧洲到处都是这种风格,而这里的更小一些。此外,这里有点工业化的感觉,风景不是那么好。走走看看而已,没有非常特别之处。
We were blessed with good weather and this place came to life. Surrounded by restaurants with a terrace, this is definitely the place to visit when in Lille
The Grand Place de General De Gaulle is the focal point of the town centre. It is very lively with its splendid bakeries, restaurants, cafes and lots of other shops. At weekends in particular the square is at its busiest with street musicians keeping crowds entertained. The tourist information offices are also based here. Unfortunately there is a steady flow of traffic through the square so one has to consider road safety while strolling along the cobbled streets.
The square is surrounded by wonderful architecture, buzzing with life and many adjacent bars and restaurants to add appeal.
Typical European square with fantastic architecture but spoiled on an industrial square with a McDonalds!!! What are the authorities in Lille thinking of?!Very busy at weekends with regular flow of traffic which can, at times, be a little intrusive
On a sunny day, Le Grand Place is divine. Young and old, the area is vibrant. Cafes, bistros keep hunger away. At weekends there are markets for bric à brac in the old 'Bourse'. Amazing. All surfaces are 'pavé' or cobblestones, with little idea of what is walking areas or the 'road', for the Renaults. Beware! Unlike most French motorists, those in Lille are very courteous to pedestrians.Enjoy shops that are not 'chains', but individual businesses where Le/La patron(e) is on hand to provide assistance.Absolute magic.
Typical large square filled with bars and cafes, and beautiful buildings - everything leads off from here to all the great shopping
A beautiful place to visit, look up from the centre of Le Grand Place and you will be amazed by the history of the buildings. There are also some classic french restaurants here - great menus. The cafes are pricey, many are closed on Mondays, the museums are closed on tuesdays.Plan your trip accordingly! The metro is easy to understand, the sales in January are worth a trip for and there is parking if you are not on a budget !
A picturesque place in the centre of Lille.Take a beer sit and relax and watch the world go by hopefully sitting in the sun
This square has some grand buildings with quite lovely architecture, and great history. Visitors really need to read up beforehand or have a guide book. I loved the old stock exchange, its not always open to see inside. There are the usual shops and many restaurants, the side street are also worth a visit. And not far away is the tourist information office, with lots of free guides and trips to book. The building itself is worth a visit as its full of history and the grand hall above. We did the town tour, which if you like some history and the French you will enjoy it.
There is a lot of restaurants with terrace and the prices are acceptable. You may also eat there although you will find better place elsewhere
We were somewhat disappointed with Lille, although the main square is worth a visit other parts weren't. For example the Sunday market was mostly tat, and in a run down area. It's a place we wouldn't go back to.
The place you'll always find yourself crossing as you wander round the beautiful city of Lille. It's a vast space surrounded by beautiful buildings, although the theatre on the east side could do with a bit of work on it's rather intrusive facade signage. But go to the North west corner - go through into a new land of narrow streets and lovely old buildings, not to mention lovely food shops snd eateries, in the old town. Yum!
Nice Place Many people stay in. Many coffee shops around. it's nice area Morning and night every time full of people. It's in center not far from mall and dirty electronic shop. I enjoy my daily visit.
Such a beautiful place. Lovely atmosphere, great shops, restaurants. It's very central if you can get to stay in the vicinity. We were so lucky to have a lend of an apartment in the grand place.
