We have visited Domaine de Marotte numerous times in the last decade. With friends and family, we try to visit the Van Dijkman family to enjoy not only the view of the Mont Ventoux from their vineyards, but to ultimately buy their wines. They are biological, very tasty and made from hand-picked grapes. We have done their audio tour several times and in contrary to a theoretical explanation in a hall by a guide, you walk through the different vines on their Domaine by yourself. Even without a lunch basket, it is a pleasure to be there, especially since there is always a warm welcome and ample possibility to taste their different wines. Worth the trip!

We went to a wine tasting and picnic on the recommendation of our tour agent. We were not disappointed. This is a family owned and operated vineyard. We had a tour of the vineyard with an prerecorded audio guide which moved you around to the various points. At the end you got to sample their wines and then we were presented with the most gorgeous picnic lunch. We sat and ate it looking out over the vines and rolling hills. It was a busy spot as they were getting ready to start picking the grapes and there were lots of other visitors. They also have rooms to stay in and if we ever return we will book a stay.

We were invited for a degustation early on a Frday evening and what a way to start a weekend break in Domaine de Marotte means "Fool's cap" or favourite hobby and is a fabulous vineyard owned by the Van Dijkman family from Holland. This is a lovely endroit in the Vaucluse and you are sure of a warm welcome.We strolled around the vineyard and imbibed the atmosphere. Then it was time for the tasting: little slurps of rose and white soon turned into people buying whole bottles to enjoy at the princely sum of 7 euros a bouteille!We only stayed a couple of hours but I gather these excellent hosts will allow you to picnique in their grounds drinking their wine and eating the local fare at reasonable prices. I believe there is accommodation on site too.If you are a hedonist, then the Domaine de Marotte is for you!

We visited Domaine de Marotte on the recommendation of the place we stayed in Rognonas. I've visited the area lots of times but this was my first time with this wine-tasting tour and I'm already making plans to go back again later in the summer. We arrived about 11am and were given our ipod and player for our tour. The tour is done in a way I really enjoyed, completely at our own pace. There were others there, but my husband and I were able to walk through the vines and into the cellar and kitchens listening to the audio tour. After that we went into the shop area for tasting where a larger group arrived and we did the tasting together while the owner talked us through it. And then we went off with our picnic basket (meat, cheese, bread, jam, tapenade, cherries etc) and wine to a table of our choice. It was a bit windy for the mountain view of Ventoux so we chose a private table in the sunshine among the vines. After that we had coffee and chose which wine to buy! The whole experience was excellent value and one of my favourite things I have ever done in the area.

We were taken to Domaine du Marotte by our private guide in April of this year. There were four of us, and our guide had arranged for us to meet the family and take a tour of their property. We tasted some very good wines. The family took their time with us and were engaging and friendly, even though we only made very modest purchases. We would recommend this stop to visitors who are in the area.

Couldn't have had a better experience, it's not possible to get better than enjoying a glass of some of France's best rose that's 100% organic, while cooling off in the shade enjoying the view of ven2 the first of the French alps. Simply serene. Come! You will not regret it, an experience to dote on! Real memory's

Un très jolie domaine qui organise une visite de l'exploitation, guidée par un iPad, avec picknique dans les vignes avec des produits de terroir et de provence goûter les blancs ils sont superbe.

Reeds meerdere malen deze wijngaard bezocht. We leerden het domein kennen met een audiotoer om nadien een wijnproeverij te doen. Tijdens deze proeverij kregen we nog meer informatie over het wijnbedrijf van Daan en Elvire, de zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw.Nadien kwam le moment suprême: een héérlijke picknickmand gevuld met allerlei lekkers van de Provence: confituur, kaas, meloen, olijven, worst, tapenades, pâté en overheerlijk Frans brood. Er stak ook nog onze gekozen wijn van bij de proeverij en een fles fris water in de mand. In het midden van de wijngaard zetten we ons aan een gezellige tafel met uitzicht op de Mont Ventoux én heerlijk in de schaduw. Dit is GENIETEN!!!!! Een echte aanrader!!!!!!!!!!

In de zomer van 2011 de rondleiding door de wijngaard gedaan, met aansluitend een picknick.Absoluut een aanrader. Het gevoel van "Leven als God in Frankrijk"!!!!!

Nous connaissons le domaine de Marotte depuis plusieurs années et y retournons chaque année avec des amis. Il y a tout d'abord la dégustation des vins, présentée avec beaucoup de connaissance. Ensuite vous pouvez faire un tour du domaine vinicole (audio guidée) pour terminer à une table vigneronne avec un panier garni des spécialités locales (pain, tapenades, fromages, saucisson, melon...sans oublier le vin). La vue sur le Mont Ventoux et les dentelles de Montmirail est imprenable! C'est un endroit unique en son genre. A faire!!

Cela fait plusieurs années que nous commandons un panier vigneron et allons déjeuner dans les vignes du domaine. Plusieurs tables sont à notre disposition avec vue sur le Mont Ventoux et les dentelles de Montmirail. C'est un endroit de rêve! Les proprios sont très sympathiques et la dégustation de vin vaut la peine. A faire et re-faire!!

Een heel leuke uitstapje om te doen! Allereerst krijg je met een groepje een rondleiding. Na een korte persoonlijke inleiding krijgt de groep een Ipod rondleiding mee, die je over de hele gaard laat gaan, tot in de wijnkelders aan toe. Daarna volgt het wijnproeven, helemaal leuk. Wij hebben een kratje rose meegenomen. Daarna zijn we gaan picknicken in de wijngaard, er was een tafel voor ons bedacht, waar we met 2 vrienden samen zijn gaan lunchen. Heerlijke wijn, heerlijk brood, verschillende soorten kaas, vijgenjam, van alles wat, echt super geregeld. Zeer leuke manier om een deel van de dag door te brengen, absoluut een aanrader!!

We wilden ff wat proeven. Uiteindelijk hebben we de leuke iPod- rondleiding gevolgd en uitgebreid kunnen proeven van al hun lekkere wijnen. Te laat maar met een heerlijke doos wijnen, veilig, naar huis gereden.

We hebben de picknick gedaan met voorafgaand een rondleiding op de wijngaard en de wijnproeverij. We hebben lekker gedronken en gegeten. Aangename mensen. Zeer toffe ervaring! Aanrader!

Op dit wijndomein hebben ze een aantal dingen mooi gecombineerd. Als je daags van tevoren reserveert kun je een rondleiding krijgen, een wijnproeverij en daarna heerlijk picknicken in de wijngaard.Ze hebben een aantal lekkere wijnen en we gingen dan na de proeverij ook naar huis met een paar heerlijke wijntjes. Voor de picknick kregen we een rijk gevulde mand met allerlei lekkernijen en natuurlijk een heerlijke fles wijn (naar keuze) uit eigen wijngaard. In de wijngaard staan op verschillende plaatsen tafels en stoelen. Wij hebben op een warme zomerdag in de schaduw zitten genieten als een god in Frankrijk met uitzicht over de wijngaard.
