Walking through the Mariners Cemetery along a steep and roughly made path is not an easy walk, but the scenes of wooded slopes are a tantalising taster for the views at the top.The Chapel/Church/Notre Dame is a museum and a reminder of the rich links with the roots of the area in fishing and naval history and the tragedies of fishermen's life.The views of the Mediterranean from the top are stunning only changed by the seasons and sea states.Well worth a visit, car parking is available at the bottom of the path, but there are signs warning not to leave valuables in your car.

THis place is great, full of history and misteries.It look's like you are doing a pilgrimage in the middle of nowhere.Really a nice place to go with a 10-15 min easy walk (careful, only for people who can walk).From the re you will have a full view over Gruissan and the sea.Do not forget to have a look at the cave behind the church ;-)

This is actually a very interesting church that is well worth a visit. There is a powerful energy within it of the spirit of the local community.

Incredible annual pilgrimage through the mariners cemetery up to the wonderful little Church of Notre Dame des Auzils. The arts and crafts in this Church would surprise and delight anyone. Do go if you ever get the opportunity and are able to make the climb.

You should be aware that the best way to visit Notre-Dame-des-Auzils is to climb to the top from the sea level using a large path borded by sailor graves. In summer, do it in the early hours of the day before hotest hours.

Drive to the car park in the hills sign posted from the Narbonne-Gruissan road. Then walk although it's high it's a gradual walk on a cobblestone bath. The route is lined with gravestones of sailors who have died in tempests and battles, very interesting to read the stones. The view from the church is wonderful, as is the church itself. Newly restored with masses of paintings of ships from all eras, but don't go in the dreaded two hour lunch break as it will be closed.

Nice to visit when you can actually get to look inside which is hit and miss. If you are in the area you should definitely give it a look but prepare for it to be closed. However the walk up there is worth it but not for elderly or infirm.

Super endroit remplie d histoire à découvrir la vue est superbe Sentier un peu raide ,grâce a la chasse au trésor on a pu découvrir plein d endroit cachés belle ballade

Au milieu du massif de la clape cdtge promenade de 1h30 environ permet de s' immerger dans les pins avec ambiance cigale +++.Meme pendant de fortes chaleur l'ombrage des pins permet de supporter cette montée qui nous amene dans une petite chapelle fraiche d'ou la vue surla méditerranéen est a coupée le souffle.Faites le detour.

Belle randonnée , bonnes chaussures à prévoir...Vue magnifique sur La Clapet et la mer...Avec le souvenir des marins de Gruissan tout au long du chemin...

Au calme et au frais dans la clape, Nous découvrons la maison de l'Ermite et son jardin, Puis une montée tranquille mais caillouteuse, prévoir des chaussures de marche, le cimetière des valeureux marins de Gruissan nous accompagne tout au long du parcours et à l'arrivée un magnifique panorama de la station et la belle bleue, Notre Dame des Auzils pour terminer cette escapade sereine et revivifiante.

tout est beau. la chapelle a l'interieur est tres belle avec mille détails. l'exterieur offre une vue splendide sur Gruissan, la mediterranée et la clape.

superbe ballade au calme, la vue est magnifique, endroit preservé.je vous conseille d'y aller , c'est facile d'acces vous ne serez pas decu

Endroit chargé d'histoire parsemé de récits de naufrage en mer de Chine ou au milieu de l'Atlantique à lire sur les cénotaphes qui jalonnent la montée vers La Chapelle où les jours de tramontane la vue est magnifique. Au milieu de la montée s'arrêter dans la maison de l'ermite avec son petit jardin.Un endroit calme, reposant au sein de la Clape comme un bijou dans son écrin

Chemin en escalier ponctué de 26 cénotaphes.À lire, pour l'émotion et ... la marche devient plus facile!Pureté de l'air, vue superbe depuis la chapelle, et, soyez curieux: à la base de la chapelle il y a une grotte surprise.
