One of most beatiful places, you should to visit! Take a time to spend here all day. It`s a great escape from Paris. You can go there by train from Paris to Le havre and from there by bus. Cliffs are amazing!

This is really a very beautiful natural place, but people are very rude, angry and even I would say aggressive. So it is better to visit this place when the weather is not so good and you can easy find the place for parking and accommodation.

Beautiful place in all seasons. Visit the coast at different times during the day. Find out the tide timetable and enjoy the sight changing. Always take your wellies and raincoat, but don't let the rain stop you from visiting.

Be prepared with your camera. Some of the best natural cliffs I've ever seen. I never get tired of visiting the cliffs and taking pics. One of the hidden gems along the Normandy coast.

I know it is not the best idea to visit this place on the winter, but the sunset what we saw just made us forget about the weather. It worth the effort to sit there for almost one hour on the cliff, listening to the wind, to the birds and the sea, while waiting for the sun to get melt in the water.It is just perfect...

If you get a chance to venture out here, do so but make sure you are able to take in the sunset!! It is just spectacular. I would not hesitate to make another trip out here to hike the cliffs. You can go up both sides (by the church and golf course). The hike up by the church is rather steep and it is a benefit to be in decent shape. Take some water and a jacket with you. We parked in town along the street, really close to the beach area.The side without the church, there is a path that seems to just keep going. We hiked to the third outcropping and you could still walk down the coast.

Wonderful walk along the cliff, from Etretat on one side or the other. the view on the north sea is breathtaking. a good way to take a deep breath, at any season of the year.if you want to see an amazing beach under the cliff, try la plage des loges, it's around 4 to 5 km north from Etretat, you need a car. Park your vehicle at the parking about 100 meters from the shore. walk along the pathway, and you will access to a marvelous place, purely magic.

Etretat is the one of the most amazing places of Normandy. If you climb up the cliffs you can see an awsome panorama.

This place was recommended by a friend, when planning our trip through France. It was a detour from our planned route that was well worth it. The cliffs are just breathtaking. There are several shapes carved into the cliffs. A very picturesque site. The hike up the hills is actually not as daunting as it seems, and is well worth the effort. The view from up there is wonderful. The city it self, although very tourist-minded, is quite lovely, especially when you get out of the tourist centre. The beach is very rocky, but some people braved the colder weather to swim or rest on the beach. All-in-all, a beautiful worthwhile place to visit.

Never such a magnifique view in my life. I felt so free, so alive to visit and climbed in the cliff. If you like to walk this is the best place to see the nature by walking and climbing the hills. And at the end you find the beautiful blue ocean surrounding the cliff. Just an experience hard to forget.

Didn't know the place but was definitely worth the detour. Lovely cliffs, nice place for a walk. Even better if the weather is nice. Take the time to enjoy it...

The natural beauty of rugged cliffs, long pebble beach, jutting rock formations and the crashing surf of the English Channel -- this place leaves an indelible image in one's memory. This is a seaside village that we would like to visit again and stay a few days to take in the full effect.

First I saw the photos and told myself that certainly those photos were edited...but surprise, once there, you simply visualise yourself in those photos...the view is amazing ..I was feeling like an ant compared to the beauty and the majesty of nature ..
