Ideal place for a 2 or 3 day relax trip. Either with friends or with your family or couple. During the evening you should definitevely cross to Hondarribia on spanish side.

This beach is perfect for surfers, families. It's wide, clean, you can park just in beach line... Perfect for go with children and all the things you need...In september you can go 'a pied' to 'the jumeaux ' and find crabb!!!

An example of a typical French seaside town, reminiscent of Biarritz but smaller, the beach was crowded and weather was great!

Very good beach, very well maintained. Must be 3 km long so was great for long walks, very enjoyable.Plenty of surfing schools, which looked well ran, waves varied along beach so plenty for everyone.Small shops and cafes, dotted around so plenty to do off the beach but close by.

The beach in Hendaye is very long and beautiful. It is safe for children and at the same time ideal for surfers. It is cleaned every morning and very well maintained through the year. Plenty of parking places and a very pleasant promenade along the beach. From the marina at the end of the beach you can catch a little boat which takes you to Hondarribia in Spain.

What a majestic way to start a hike!! Dip your toes in the clear Atlatic waters off this beautiful beach!

Me and my friends went to Hendaye in the summer and we were coming back from an interrail. This beach is not the best beach in the world but it's definitely a good place to relax! If you are doing an interrail and you have the time, visit the beach and chill.

Great restaurants at night, Best food of our trip.Beach was not as busy as Biarritz. Easy to park. Nice beach. Surfers seem to like it.

My family and I enjoyed the beach a lot. We stayed and enjoyed the beach in the afternoon, following it with dinner at one of the restaurants close to the beach and then went on a boat ride to the other side under a full moon. Quite a treat!!

This is the best beach I ever saw! Splendid sandy beach, very clean and comfortable, not crowded.We had a very romantic walk with my husband at the night...

Excellent beach for children. Huge expanse of sand and very gently shelving. You can walk in 100 metres and still only be up to your knees! Excellent water quality. Very popular resort and the holiday makers promenade from one end of the beach to the other - at least 3 miles! No changing facilities.

Hendaye is a bit like the poor cousin of Biarritz, but it's very neat, tidy and not as expensive, and you only need to walk across the bridge of the "Avenue d'Espagne", and you're in Spain! Fantastic.The beach is well equipped, lots of kids beach clubs in summer, sadly the weather wasn't the best when we went there.While in Hendaye, go to the tourism office and they will give you all the details to travel cheaply from Hendaye to San Sebastian (in Spain) by train. Worth every penny. Return tickets for 2 adults did cost us about 7 euros (yes, that's 3.50 each!).Quiet little harbour with the river separating France from Spain.

Premier week-end de beau temps. un plaisir de se promener sur la plage. Bien aménagée avec suffisamment de bancs pour s'asseoir. Nous avons aussi constaté qu'il y avait beaucoup d'emplacements pour les 2 roues, ainsi que pour les handicapés.

Una playa para ir en familia, en pareja o solo , playa de casi 4 metros unas vistas preciosas ,dotada de duchas ,parking en verano se queda escaso.

une des plus grandes plages du pays basque, bordé d'un boulevard-promenade agréable . En été, la plage accueille les jeux pour enfants, les tentes, parasols et chaises longues, plage surveillée en divers endroits. Tout au bout, vers les deux jumeaux, tolérance des naturistes, mais là la plage n'est plus surveillée. Et bien évidemment, c'est un des "spots" bien connu des surfeurs, toute l'année! Côté espagne(côté des dunes), la plage descend en pente très douce vers l'océan et les vagues sont douces. Côté deux jumeaux, la pente est plus forte, il y a des rochers tout au bout, et les vagues sont plus fortes.Comme toutes les plages de l'ocean, il y a de nombreuses poubelles sur la plage qui est néttoyée quotidiennement et est toujours très propre en été SAUF quand les touristes peu scrupuleux laissent traîner leur détritus ET LEURS MEGOTS( qu'il faut des milliers d'années pour détruire!!!)Et comme sur toutes les plages , LES CHIENS Y SONT INTERDITS TOUTE L'ANNEE, alors , touristes ou non, RESPECTEZ ces deux conditions : PROPRETE ET PAS DE CHIENS pour que le bonheur de tous soit complet pour profiter le plus longtemps possible de ce littoral, et pour le bien de la nature … et de vos enfants : car pas de chiens sur la plage , c'es avant tout une histoire d'hygiène !!! laisseriez-vous vos enfants patauger dans la litière d'un chat??…. Oui, la plage d'hendaye est une des plus belles de la région, faisons en sorte qu'elle le reste :-)
