Wonderful afternoon exploring St Emilion and surroundings. Tim so full of knowledge and also sharing with engagement and joy. All of us 4 enjoyed the trip so much! We recommend Rustic Wines strongly! Also great with our driver so we all could taste the wines!

Had a good time with Tim & Scott , we been to Bordeaux in Feb'15 and it was an odd season as there are no grapes to see :(. However Tim and & Scott kept us busy with wine tastings and even a quick tour of the beautiful city.Thanks Tim & ScottPraveen

Me and my Japanese friend took a few days to visit Bordeaux lately. The region is famous for its wine so we decided to take a tour to St Emilion and we had a great time ! Tim was a great guide, quite friendly and easy-going. We spent a wonderful moment with him and his Canadian friend. We tasted some great wines and learned a lot of things about wine-tasting and wine-making.Just awesome !To be recommended !

This the MUST do, not to be missed tour for those that love wine, great service, a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy having a lot of fun while on holidays. Tim is outstanding, there is a reason he is no. 1. Fun and laid back but incredibly knowledgable. This tour is for everyone, from the true wine critic to those that just know they love wine and want to drink some. My husband and I did the afternoon Médoc wine tour. It was a small group of just 4 and we met another great Aussie couple. All different in our tastes and the tour had something for each of us. I fell in love with chateaux Rauzan Segla, being a girl in love with Chanel and my husband found the perfect bottle for us to take home from Chateau Ferriere. The couple who joined us on this tour had previously visit St. Emillion with Tim earlier in the week and raved about it. We loved the Medoc tour so much, that before it was over we were enquiry about joining the St Emillion tour later in the week. Book all your tours with Tim, I can't speak anymore highly of him and the wonderful experience we had.

We had a fantastic time on our St Emilion wine tour with Tim (Group of 4). The Chateaus we visited were great. I didn't know alot about wine but I found the tour to be informative and fun. Tim is an awesome guide, very easy going and friendly. This tour is great for groups, couples and families. I can't wait to go back in the Summer time.

My wife & I had a wonderful 2 days in St Emilion, Medoc & Pessac-Leognan. Because we visited in the (almost) offseason, we were the only travelers on our tours, which meant we got a very intimate perspective of the region. Tim was super easy-going and unpretentious—he's even from New Zealand where we honeymooned, so we had plenty to talk about! He even added a few stops because it was just the two of us, including a visit to his friend's shop in St Emilion. All in all, two of our favorite days in France and would highly recommend to anyone!

My wife and I had a great time with Tim during an all day wine tour to two different locations of Bordeaux. Tim was super friendly and extremely knowledgable about the area and the wines. He had great connections with the local Chateaus and even organized a great wine tasting for our group at the end of the day! We were pleased to learn a lot about French wine, especially from Bordeaux, we were able to taste a wide variety, we were able to meet some interesting people from around the world, and we had a great host and guide!Thanks Tim!

Thank you very much to Tim and his wine tour.Very surprised in how much was involved in making the humble bottle of plonk! Given the subject it was refreshing to learn about this subject in a very relaxed way without taking away anything from the importance of the wine making process.Visited two lovely chateaux and appreciated the help and knowledge given by the hosts working there who were very pleasant and welcoming. Would recommend this a great couple of hours out especially if the weather is good like it was for us.Would do again and thanks to Tim who went that little bit extra to make it an enjoyable experience, all the best for the future.

A friend and I were recently in Bordeaux, and though it was cold and overcast, we decided to take a wine tour with Tim. It was an excellent decision. Tim was extremely fun and personable, knew a lot about the region, the wines, and the chateauxs. Everything from buying the tickets, to meeting him in the city, to getting back to our hotel was smooth sailing. He had great relationships with the people showing us the chateaus and pouring wines, which made it an even more personable experience. If we come back, winter or summer, we would do another tour with Tim!

Tim did a wonderful tour of St. Elillion and Medoc. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. We recommend him highly! The places he selected to visit and taste were wonderful. We liked the small group rather than a big bus.

What a great experience! We did a half-day tour of Saint-Émilion in November. The service was awesome, Tim was very knowledgeable and informative, and the chateaux and the wine were great. Highly recommended - a most enjoyable afternoon in the company of Tim our knowledgeable and friendly group leader. Our group was six in number - the maximum being eight, which means that it will always be personal and easy-going.The organisation was very efficient, yet informal . Tim has excellent relationships with the chateaux owners as well as the helpful and approachable owner of a wine merchant in St Emilion. Knowing very little about the Bordeaux Wine Region we decided to take a tour in the area in our recent visit to France. After reading the reviews here it became clear to give Rustic Vines our business, we were not disappointed. From pick up till drop off the experience was exceptional and both my partner and I felt that we not only got to learn a little more about the region but also try some great wines.Whilst en-route to our destination, Tim clearly explained how regions are separated and about the system of class amongst certain areas (especially Saint Emilion as we were touring there). Before arriving to our first Château we had a clear understanding on what to expect. Tim is passionate about his work and has a manner that is relaxed which with the group (on this occasion 6 but can fit 8) created a positive atmosphere.It's obvious that Tim has a good relationship with the Châteaus we visited which in turn gives us a relaxed experience. Yes it made us comfortable to purchase wine (surely this is what the purpose of the business in) and in all gave us a good experience. It is a beautiful region to visit with a large selection of good wines and this tour is the best pick you can make to experience it.

Went for the tour during early December. It was our first wine tour and I'm glad to say that this was one of the best wine tours among many that we had in other cities. Tim was very friendly and we really enjoyed him being our guide. We also learnt to taste wine the correct way from him. The picnic was great too and we get to enjoy various cheeses with our wine. Recommended for anyone wanting to go for a wine tour with a small group and a personal feel.
