the heart of Wroclaw, filled with shops bars and stunning architectural places. lots of Wroclaw dwarfs are hidden there so try to find as many as you can
The old town was the first place I visited, and this was one of the most stunning city centers I have ever seen. I shan't ruin the surprise. We went in winter and it was a cloudy day, but couldn't imagine how amazing the atmosphere and the view would be in summer!
I would recommend to explore Wroclaw yourself and don't spend money on touristic agencies. The whole Old city and Market Square is filled with good restaurants and ice-cream (mmm... ice-creams...) places, which you skip if you use touristic buses. So, equip yourself with a map or trip advisor, and go ahead, explore the city. And don't forget to find some dwarfs hiding all over Wroclaw!
This is the heart of Wroclaw. With one or two, exceptions, it is completely ringed by medieval buildings, many with shops and restaurants of varying quality (mostly pretty good). The centerpiece is the centuries-old Ratusz, with its gothic spires and cellar restaurant, which has been in existence since the 1200s. Don't miss the historical museum on the first floor. It's free. The area is kept exceptionally clean. I could never find even a scap of paper on the cobblestone square, and that's after 5-6 visits to Wroclaw. Police patrol the area on foot, in pairs, at regular intervals. In summer, the restaurants set up tents to serve patrons al fresco. After KRAKÓW, this is my favorite city in Poland. And the historic center is one of the main reasons.
Historic center of Breslavia is really nice and suggestive, with a lot of good restaurants to visit and corners to fix inside pictures.
Best pkace to stay in terms of access to other sites and transport links. May be a bit lively at night but you can fault the beauty and variety of the buildings.
Great place to walk around to view centuries old Poland. Lots of places to enjoy, pubs, restaurants, and other points of interest. Go walk around enjoy come hungry and bar and restaurant hop eating a small bite in each place you will be happy you did."the Doctor"
Very pretty square with lots of colourful old buildings many with Dutch Gables. Surrounded by many old churches and other important civic buildings. It was a cold and dull day when we visited but the colourful buildings lifted the doom and gloom.
This is where I spent a lot of my time. ity hall is beautiful though where is the museum lol? Lots of bars restaurants and shops!
You wonder where to go in Poland? Well, I recommend Wroclaw for sure! The Old Town is Wroclaw so you cannot miss that. Especially the Christmas market. It's one of the biggest in Poland and it will leave you speechless of its beauty and illuminations.
Centrally located, the city of Wrocław is literally built around the Old Town. With a couple of moats around, the town hall, numerous restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs and not only. Well, I would say, being in Wrocław and not being in the Old Town is like not being in Wrocław at all. It just is one of the places that you have to go and visit before leaving the city.
