You have to drive this when in Dingle, it is so beautiful, the scenery is incredible. It doesn't take too long to drive it and there is a really gorgeous storm beach on the route which should definitely be part of your stops. There are lots of places to pull in and take photos. It was a really windy day when we drove it but it didn't spoil it. Stop off for a coffee at Louis Mulcahy's workshop/cafe and take a load off. Rugged, beautiful drive, has to be done!

On a wild & windy Sunday with almost zero visibility at times this is still well worth the trip.. The drive itself can be hair raising in places especially when you meet a car travelling in the opposite direction as the road is very narrow & twisty. Not for the faint hearted, but oh my the sceanery is spectacular.

Slea head and the Conor Pass are the absolute epitomy of unspoilt Ireland. This is the place to go if you want, to see Ireland as it was before years ago, and even now it remains unspoilt for those who live there. It is just beautiful. If you want to photograph sheep on the road, ruins, cliffs, the sea etc.Slea head is a must. This is a place (generally) without tourist traps, traffic, or chaos. If you are in Dingle and you can make it, it will not disappoint.

It takes about an hour to drive around. But it has some of the most amazing views in Ireland. A must see if your visiting Ireland. Beautiful coastline and mountains. Even on a rainy day it's amazing. The mountains were so misty and the waves were just crashing up against the rocks. Would go again for sure.

Beautiful views and lovely attractions like bee hive huts on way back. Lovely view of the blasket islands.

As a friend of mine and I were driving along Slea Head Drive there were many times where I thought: aww, this place makes you want to be a sheep on the Dingle peninsular. The views are stunning and absolutely unforgettable. Cannot wait to return!

The scenery takes your breath away, and dont let bad weather put you off. We visited when it was cold, windy and raining. It is one of the most spectular, places I have ever seen. I think Ireland is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and Slea Head is its crowning glory. Only a half hour drive from Dingle Town. If you see one place in Ireland, then Slea Head has to be it!!!

Hands down one of the most beautiful drives I have done anywhere, ever. When starting out on the Dingle Peninsula it doesn't seem too special, but suddenly it turns into a jaw-dropping adventure of cliffs, islands, beaches and beautiful farmland. The road itself is narrow, bendy and perhaps just a wee bit dangerous, but it only adds to the authenticity! There are many pull-offs to stop and take photos, which you are guaranteed to want to do.

The most incredible drive in Ireland. On a sunny day, the scenery is more than a match for anywhere in the world. Make sure somebody else is driving when you go here. Some great viewing areas along the route. Some lovely food and Guinness to be had along the way, another reason to have someone else driving!!!

A narrow windy road that is guaranteed to bring gasps at every turn. We were lucky enough to have bright blue skies and brilliant sunshine , allowing fabulous view of the Skellig Isles and, a little closer, the Blasket Islands. Beautiful drive in rain or shine ,evocative & atmospheric .

Best drive of our trip to Ireland. So loved driving the Slea Head Loop. Most of the time we never encountered any traffic. We had several opporuntities to pull off, take pictures, and have a picnic overlooking the sea. We stopped at one very sandy beach area. Not a very big beach but sand was pretty. You had to walk down steep road to reach but so worth it. Just a tiny cove. Beautiful water. The beauty along this road is rugged.

Take a picnic and make a day long trip of it. Plenty of places to stop, explore, and admire the beauty of the scenery.

The views along this way are fantastic. Its a lovely part of Ireland and you will be able to stop for tea and scones if you wish. Take the time to stop and take some stunning photos.

we traveled this route on our holidays in Co Kerry in the summer. The weather was beautiful with blue sky's, we had beautiful scenery to enjoy and some exciting driving the road is narrow and twisting and Is traveled by coach tour busses which look very big and daunting on such narrow roads. But this adds to the appeal of the route. One one side you have the wild Atlantic Ocean to look at and beautiful wild land on the other. Well worth the drive especially on a good day weather wise.
