My 22 year old daughter and I spent two weeks horseback riding in Ireland and rode 2-5 hours a day at 7 different stables. We are experienced riders who own our own horses and foxhunt in the USA. We enjoyed the Clew Bay Trail Ride the most. Our driver, Padraic's father was delightful. He is the epitomy of the friendly helpful Irish local who regaled us with local stories, Irish history, driving directions, and jokes. His son Padraic, our horse guide, met us with the horses at beautiful riding country and led us on our trip. His horses were the best mannered we had had in Ireland and the two days of riding covered peat bogs in the mountains and islands from the beach. He also told us Irish history and local information. If you want a safe but spirited Irish Sport Horse ride I would highly recommend this trip.

My mom and I (age 21 and 56) did a two day trail ride with Padraic and had one of the best rides ever in Ireland. After traveling for 10 days and riding in a different place in Ireland every day, we ended our trip at Clew Bay and had a fabulous end! Padraic and his father are so kind and friendly, and really make the experience run smoothly and to your liking. We loved the first 5 hour day on the mountain getting to know our horses and seeing the views. The horses are amazing and were the best horses we had been on our whole trip! The second 5 hour day was a gorgeous and fun canter along the beach, making us really sad to be finishing our riding vacation in Ireland! I really cant express how amazing the Drumindoo team was and how much fun we had with Padraic on the trails. I highly recommend Drumindoo if you are looking for a fun trail ride on some very well behaved horses! You guys really gave us a fantastic end to our first trip to Ireland, and hopefully at some point we can come back!

We visited Drummindoo Stud in August when visiting Westport, our 2 daughters hadn't ridden before and we wanted to make sure it was a fun, positive experience for them - well thank you to Drummindoo Stud for a great first ride! I called to book and they were very accommodating, on arrival we were made to feel very welcome and my 2 girls immediately took to Molly who was a total dote. We all enjoyed ourselves and we will most definitely be back, the girls are still talking about it. Great time had by all of us, highly recommend.
