We visited Estonia on a day trip from Helsinki on the ferry. We found this shooting range on trip advisor and though it would be worth a visit. You need to call them up for a time slot, which we did when we got off of the ferry. The lady on the phone was very helpful and spoke excellent English. We got a taxi there, as it would have been too far to walk. The taxi dropped us off in a run down dodgy looking place and we were a little nervous but there is no need to be. The actual shooting was AWESOME! My partner one of the bigger packages, and I had one of the smaller ones. I would recommend a larger one so you can shoot more weapons. You are free to take photo's and we even took some empty shells as a souvenir. We had the most awesome hour and it was worth every euro, and we would definately reccomend this for anyone.
Had so much fun shooting different types of guns for the very first time. Our instructor was knowledgeable and very friendly.PS. Please be aware that you cannot be late for your time slot
Tondi shooting range is place to enjoy firepower. It has large offering of different guns, and the instructors are very experienced. Must visit!
Advertised in the centre of town, don't be tempted to walk it along one of the the main thoroughfares. It's a stiff hour's walk, although you get a real feel for being in Eastern Europe by the time you get there. don't be put off either by the somewhat dodgy-looking location, round the back of a run-down car-park/light engineering complex. It's a lot safer than it appears at first glance. Managed to book at very short notice, with only a one hour wait which we passed in a quirky soviet-style cafe more or less next door. As first time shooters, myself and a friend (who had firing guns on his bucket list) chose the 48 Euros 9mm package, an hours worth, 30 ronuds, three handguns and a carbine. The lady instructor was very efficient, safety-conscious and was happy to let us pose for photos with the guns and/or with her when our session was complete (and she had double-checked that the guns were unloaded!). If you only want to fire guns once in your life, I'd whole-heartedly recommend this experience, it's quite a buzz!
For the men who want to experience the "boys with toys" time, a must visit place when at Tallinn. Authentic guns and an informed guide to help you shoot your way to total satisfaction. We took the 55€ package and boy we were truly thrilled!! When our time was up we just didn't feel like leaving, however we left feeling content and all pumped up :)
Was a little bit apprehensive as had never shot a gun before but the tall dark haired lady who instructed us instantly put myself and my partner at ease. Spoke excellent English and gave us clear instructions with regards to safety. Was such a buzz and would recommend.
You really have to go. It was such an experience to fire about 10 different guns from small automatics, 357 magnum right up to AK47's and an M4. I also need to point out that it was also very safe. :-) a real must if you go there.......certainly something you can't do easily anywhere else.
You really need to be into guns for this! They will give you a number of different weapons to shoot and try out so its interesting but a bit scary and very loud. You need to take your time as they will make sure that you understand what you are doing and that it is all done safely.
Let me clear some things up: 1- I am a woman2- I went there by myself3- I felt completely safe4- I had the fun of a lifetime!!!The instructors are great, very nice and patient, shooting a real gun is a lot of fun, and you don't need a guy with you to go there. If you are a curious woman, like me, go for it and I am sure you will NOT regret it!!!! I loved it!!! For sure I will go there again next time I'm in Tallinn!!
My husband & oldest son did the beginners package at Tondi shooting range (€30 per person) and it was a fantastic introduction for beginners. Our female instructor was very helpful & took photo's for us at the end. It's only a short bus ride out of the city (& the bus stop is right across the street) Awesome experience!!!
first time trying such and experience and I couldn't think of a better place to do so. There are different packages between 20-80 euros to try different weapons. we tried couple of handguns, rifle, AK47 and a shotgun (make sure to check the site for the full list). the instructor was professional and gave detailed explanation for every weapon before giving instructions how to use it . The range is a little difficult to find, it's located at the last building in the underground floor. make sure to make reservations couple of days ahead [ we didn't make any but they still found a slot to let us in .. which was great :) ]. the place values safety above all else so no worries there .bottom line, if you are a shooting fan or just want to experience make sure to give it a shot :)
Could never imagine myself shooting a real gun but this is what I did! The range is a little difficult to find but I think the owner is currently negotiating new signage for outside the building. Once there, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us good advice on the various packages available and then talked us through each gun. Glad we did it.
There had been some misunderstandings, so they did not have our reservation when we arrived. But they made no problem out of that, and arranged for us to shoot immidiatly. I felt safe the whole time, and with sufficient "teaching" in advance. This was great fun, even for girls. We went there as a coupple, and had a great time!
The woman attending us was really warm with us. It was first hour in the afternoon, and we were alone, so she had the chance to provide with all sort of extra explanations about handguns safety and history.I always love to go to shooting galleries if it is available one in the city, and having visited some others it is clear that this one has the broadest variety of pieces I have seen. They have some funny ones.Prices are totally affordable as well. The place is a little hard to reach if you have never been before or you are new to the city, maybe with just a banner or signal at the entrance of the industrial complex where it is situated, that would help a lot.Definitively worthy,Diego R. from Barcelona
Great experience. Went shooting for the first time with a friend and as we were both new to this, the instructor showed us how to handle 5 different guns. The instructor himself was really cool and knowledgeable at the same time. Spent a cool one hour there and felt nothing but awesome. Definitely going back there.
