The bus trip from Pärnu took about 40min and cost 1,80€/one way. From the Rannametsa bus stop you have to walk about 1km back to the way the bus came from to reach the parking area which is really just a wider area on the side of the road. From there you follow the 2,2km sand trail that takes you first up the dunes to the watching tower via stairs, where you can get a view of the sea and the bog area ahead. Then you just follow the boarded causeway trail through the bog to the ponds where you can even take a dip if you are daring. The water is cold and cloudy and there's no place to change, but there's a stepladder to the pond. Even my brother who used to spend his summers in Lapland hadn't visited a bog this large. The best thing is you don't have to wear rubber boots or anything, just safely walk on the planks. I wouldn't go as far as to tell you to wear your best stilettos, even though I saw someone wearing high heels, but as the round trip from the bus stop and back is about 5km in total wear your good walking shoes.
