从Landskrona搭乘渡轮便可以来到这个位于Oresund海峡的小岛。带上你的自行车,虽然岛上没有什么著名的景观,但还是吸引我一整天。对了,环岛自行车一圈也就一个小时。
You board a small ferry from Landskrona and it takes less than half an hour to get to the island of Ven. The island is small and it is most beautiful in summer. Just a few meters from the harbour you can rent a bike and start exploring the island. There is much to see as well as just enjoy the beauty of the nature and peaceful atmosphere. Why not to visit the museum of the famous astronomer Tycho Brahe or admire local art in a private galery. You can even taste local wiskey. A swim in the sea and sunbathing on a quiet beach is always nice. There are some restaurants on the island and you can taste good local food. The day dies fast on the island and you would like to come back again!
Ven (also spelled Hven), is an island outside of Landskrona, Sweden. There are ferries several times daily and it takes about 40 minutes to get there. I do recommend you to book a ticket to avoid missing a ferry if it is full. est is to get here on a day with good weather as cycling around on a pedal bike is half the fun. They can be rented from a shop just above the hill as you exit the ferry. Pre-booking is optional but I would do it if it is a nice summers day. We opted for one with 3 gears and they also have tandems and electrical bikes. The island is quite small and you can pedal from one end to the other in less then 30 minutes. There are plenty to do ad if you wish there are b&bs if you want to stay the night. You can visit museums, historical sites, cafes, restaurants, go swimming or why not go whiskey testing at Spirit of Hven which is locally made whiskeys and spirits. They also do distillery tours but booking is essential. Pace is fairly slow on the island and it is a lovely place to wind down and enjoy nature as cars are scarce and its mostly the locals that drive on the island,
We used bikes, as everybody else was doing, and that was the best way to see and experience this beautiful island. Small cafe's and restaurants all over.
I took my husband for his birthday to Ven. There were options to experience the small island by golf cart, moped, bicycle, bus or tractor and cart. The golf cart was our option, but it was 500 SEK for 3 hours, so we took the tandem bicycle, which we enjoyed so much. There is plenty of time to explore the island in one day. We enjoyed the tranquillity, the hills, the open fields, the arboreous areas, rabbits sitting quietly, the beautiful swedish houses and wow the hydrangeas are this amazing cerise pink colours and they look so happy. You can also explore on foot. It's so worthwhile to go there by ferry early in the morning and take it easy, no rush needed. Take your bathing costume with, they like to swim at the harbour.
Visiting Ven or Hven from when it belongs to Denmark is a very relaxing experience - we went there by both from Copenhagen with our bycycles, for just one night.Booked a room for two on Turistgården, will pick another place next time.Cycled around to see the church and the garden of Tycho Brahe and the very small old church with a stunning view over Øresund. If you visit Copenhagen or Landskrona you must visti Ven/Hven.
Wonderful little island. We went there for the day on a ferry from Copenhagen. We travelled around the island on a hop-on-hop-off tractor. The best bit was the Tycho Brahe museum.
We found ourselves unexpectedly in Landskrona after a flight cancellation and had a day to fill and we decided to catch the ferry here as we are into photography. Once here we hired some bikes, one with a trailer for our camera bags and tripods and we had a fantastic time cycling round and seeing the sites. The island has fantastic views towards Denmark and Sweden and we were blessed with a really interesting sky. This turned out to be one of the highlights of our city break to Copenhagen!
Stunningly beautiful Island. We visited on a spring day with totally blue skies and perfect weather so I'm sure that helped, but every turn we took on the cycle paths opened up new and amazing views. In a few hours we were able to cycle the entire island, views of spring meadows, sparkling seas and, pretty houses. There were a few cars (maybe 2 or 3 moving ones on our visit), we had a cliff top picnic overlooking the clear seas nothing but the sound of birds, enjoyed the scenic harbour, a few cafes-everything picture perfect.Very interesting museum/observatory dedicated to Tycho Brahe a 16th century nobleman who had a castle on the island and created one of the first scientific institutions anywhere in the world here on this island. For me, an island I wish to return to, but someone mentioned to me that there was not enough to do here, so it depends what you are looking for, if it's peace, views and the space to breathe then this island of Ven has it in abundance!
Absolutely fabulous! Visiting in July 2013 for the first time in years. Easy to get the ferry across from Landskrona. We rented bikes, with a trolley and baby seat. It was so nice to cycle around. Highly recommended!!
Ven is a very beautiful island which you can stroll from end to end in a few hours. Its main attraction is the Tycho Brahe museum which I would highly recommend visiting
I absolutely give you my best advice: go and seen it in the summer time. Walking or with the bike, but you have to see it in the summer time. Is a great place to visit.
If you happen to fine yourself in Sweden, head to the island of Ven. He scenery and complete peace and relaxation is like nothin I have ever experienced. Cycle around the island and enjoy views of the ocean and wheat fields... Enjoy sundowners while listening to swallows sing.
The ferry from Landskrona to Ven takes about 20 minutes, and is packed with day trippers and lucky owners of summer homes there. It's a small island, and the best way to get around is by bicycle. Cars are allowed now (too bad), but most people pedal, walk to get towed in a wagon by a tractor. The are several places to eat or get snacks, a beautiful old church and the Tycho Braje museum. There are thatched-roofed houses and a lot of farmland and wild flowers. No wonder so many people visit!
Visited Ven island last weekend , it was in my to do for quite some tme now and it didnt disappoint .Its one of the top places in skane for a day visit .The best way or i should say only way to explore Ven is by cycle . As soon as you get down from ship walk up a lil bit and yiu will find shop to rent a bike , its costs around 90-150 depending upon configuration of bike .You can cover up the Island in 4-5 hours after taking breaks in between at some sights .If you wana enjoy beach and swiming that options is available too , there are places to do camping and barbeque...Over and all worth a visit .,,,,try it out
