The attraction is not comparable with the Ski resorts, and mountain skiing, but it is a nice place to start from if you want to try out the mountain skiing and get some experience before visiting mountain skiing resorts. The prices are a bit steep. There is a chance to take some mountain skiing and snowboarding lessons.
The best place for skiing and snowboarding if you cannot go to the mountains. Very good service. Good facilities Equipment for rent is good. Instructors are quite expensive, but proffesional - I have taken one hour of snowboarding lesson. After one hour basic training with instructor I could learn by myself to ski downhill with snowboard. There are two tracks one is covered and the other outside. Inside snow quality was good. Outside was very poor - mainly icy surface. Overall we were satisfied.
Three hours of wait time in line for snowboards until we get told there are no more left and they can't help. We could've taken skis but there was no guarantee we would've got back the extra we paid for snowboards, and they were to close in a couple of hours. Then another half an hour of waiting in line to get back the money we paid for the pass. A lot of very unhappy people and the staff doesn't give a ****.No management whatsoever. Apparently the snowboards ran out already when we were in the middle of the three hour line but nobody cared to tell.Never ever going back to this *** place.
Would be a nice place to ski, but the management ruine it all. Service terrible! You better make sure you have your own ski equipment, unless you want to spend 2:30 hours herbing in front of rent. Terrible!
Liked Snow Arena a lot, had a great and very active time there. It's a fantastic place for those who likes skiing of snowboarding
The indoor complex consists of a small beginners area and two slopes (one outdoor slope only open when temperature drops below 5 degrees).Absolutely amazing value for money, I learnt to snowboard at a total cost of 40 euros (used a voucher for slope+ equipment, 8 euros from borrowing clothes), I even went on the larger slopes for the last hour. There are plenty of opportunities for food and drink and lockers. The negatives are the waiting times to get equipment, and I can imagine experienced skiers will find the slope dull after some time. But considering it is indoors, it probably does not get better than this!
Excellent opportunity to ski during summer, even when it's warm weather outside. Of course, it's not real mountains, but fun in the summer. Nice to jump in and out of winter.
Really great place for people learning to ski, went with several coworkers who had never tried it and by end of day were skiing without falling, having fun, and making plans for larger ski trips. The runs can get repetitive after a while but can be interesting by challenging yourself with different skills. Frequent skiers and those with high ski standards should stay away but anyone looking to learn or just for a fun day excursion should definitely go. Rental process was easy (be sure to know your measurements in meters and kg if US-based) and lift was very reliable. At night, the outdoor slope was really nice with the lights.
This is an interesting place. Ofcourse ment for those who are skiing but if you are not doing it then you dont have much oporunities to spend time. Very specific smell - like from kitchen. Food was OK. Tasty latte.
Trully recommended for all alpine ski lovers. I love starting from 10 AM and staying for a couple of hours just to train the legs. Later the slopes become icy and there is no so much big fun.
Biggest snow arena, however terrible service and unwilling staff. Avoid unless completely bored. A pity such investment is wasted.
Good skiing and snowboarding! In the rental is not only equipment, but also clothes! There are a lot of place to eat and warm up after skiing! For those who miss the winter in the summer!
Snow quality is bad. Half of track are closed. No people... My friends had headache from bad weather. And if you skied in big mountains, you won't like it...
We just went to look so no first-hand experience skiing or snowboarding there. That said, I think that it is a good place to learn but would get boring pretty fast for an experienced skier. There is an indoor learning slope, the main indoor slope and an outdoor slope. All look pretty basic.Still, it was interesting to see this place and worth the 10 Lt fee.
Snow Arena is the best place to learn how to ski/snowboard. This is the place where I learned how to snowboard, the coaches in snow arena from Dru Ski School are great, however a bit too expensive. The Snow Arena it self has 3 slopes - indoor learning slope, the main indoor slope (460m.) and an outdoor slope (640m.) which is only open when it is snowing and cold enough outside. On the side of the main slope there is a snow park for snowboarders. Snow Arena is great for preparing for the season or skiing/snowboarding in the summer. The busiest months are December and January, then it starts becoming quieter. As this is the only place I’ve been snowboarding I really enjoy it and don’t find many negatives. The only problems that I find are that there are many people that come without coaches or people who know how to ski/snowboard, so there are some people who go down the main slope without knowing how to stop and I have seen many people being knocked down by them. And I do think that the slope can become a bit boring for professional skiers. The snowboarding equipment that snow arena provides is really bad, especially the old one. They have updated their snowboarding equipment, however it costs a lot more. Many also complain that their equipment is black after snowboarding here, and that it needs a lot of cleaning, however I believe they are changing their snow. Overall I think its a great place to learn how to ski/snowboard or start your season. Been here many times and will still return.
