I had there my graduation. The event was great, the area is pretty large, very nice in the summer time.

Lovely chill area just outside of Bucharest to enjoy with your friends or family. Great venue for concerts too (Summerwell festival).

The domain is quite large, there are a few things to see, but it's not really exploited to the max of its potential. You simply walk around and admire the architecture of the church, water tower and maybe sit a while on the well-kept lawn.The castle/palace itself isn't exactly visitable, as most of it is now used as a restaurant.Beware of the guards - they usually start making a fuss if they see you with a camera, especially if you're taking a picture of your lady-friend. It appears that the domain's owners have been offended by some pictures of ladies taken "illegally" on their domain - or so the legend goes.Worth the half-an-hour ride to get here? Dunno, try it for yourself and decide.The restaurant's a bit on the pricy side and there's no shop in sight, so maybe bring a bottle of water if you plan on staying here a while.

I can only imagine the life that the late owners of this domain lived. A personal forest, an artificial lake, a large villa (that they like to call a castle for some reason), a personal chapel and enough space around you to feel completely isolated from civilization (at that time). I was impressed by the century old trees. The place is usually quiet except for the days when they host concerts of weddings.No playground for kids for enough greed space to keep them entertained. The restaurant with a summer terrace is good, a lunch or a dinner being a perfect ending for a few hours of walking around. Worth a visit, 30min from Bucharest by car.

Excellent place for spending a few hours on a nice day. Century-old trees, a dam with a black swam, a chapel (closed)...Unfortunately, only stray dogs are allowed.

I was there at my best friend\s wedding. She always wanted to have her dream wedding at a palace. Not only that the contruction is very beautiful, but also the surroundings.When I first entered Stirbey domain's gates, I was amazed by the beauty of the land before my eyes. Green trees and beautiful land with corners of flowers. The big lake and the little bridge across it. The artistic chapel located in the middle of the forest. There were squirrels everywhere.Beautiful, and quit place!The only problem were the mosquitoes, but that was only at night.

Исторический особняк с привидениями (Румыния же). Большой красивый, но немного запущенный парк. Ресторан с приятной кухней, в день моего посещения был живой оркестр. Пруд с черными лебедями дополняет своеобразную атмосферу поместья. Варят и продают вкусные джемы!
