Interesting piece of history, very old, beautiful details, part of the old defending walls of the city.
Sibiu main's and tallest tower. I recommend to go all the way to the top. It's an amazing view. Can't open the windows to take photos, though.
Really, really beautiful. The entire town can be seen from up there. It's less than 1 euro to visit it. Loved it!
Built in the XIII Century, the tower is the crossing passage that links Sibiu's Big Square and Small Square. A climb to the top of the tower is well worth it. One of the most beautiful 360° views of the city. Not to forget the centuries old clock, still functional nowadays.Lots of picture opportunities.
This tower in situated in the center of Brasov. If you go upstairs you can enjoy a really nice view of the city center and the sourroundings.
If you are into taking photos or just want to see a great panorama of Sibiu, you must climb the 400 stairs of the tower. You won't regret it!
Great view, good climb, and interesting history of the city. Very cheap to get in and the 400 year old clock inside is amazing!
A great place for a view over the city, know the history of Sibiu and admiring some nice paints made by locals.Enjoy!
A lot of stairs lead the way up to a great birds eye view of the lovely Sibiu, I was here for sunset and took some nice photos, I wanted to head back here again during the day, but didn't get the chance. Great value, and there were some interesting artwork on display when I visited also.A must do in Sibiu!
This is THE place for every photographer as you can take some nice shots of the old and new city and also the hills around it. It's a long climb until you reach the top, but a bit of exercise doesn't hurt anyone.
Wonderful views will open before you the higher you reach. You have to climb up the stairs to this one, as the roofs of Sibiu town houses make for a truly splendind picture. The stairs are steep and there are some parts of the staircase that are really narrow, but otherwise it's just great. Entrance fee is also just symbolic.
I loved it! Once you get to the top the views are awesome. The stairs were quite something. Those not in shape, or with bad knees, might not like them.
Great views but needs to make itself more obvious as nearly walked past. Stairs bit steep but worth it for the views.
The Council Tower offers a great view from the top. You can see all of Sibiu and its landmarks and it is a good starting point to a visit of the city. You will find explanations for the main landmarks you see from the top so it is like a mini tour guide. To get to the top you have to climb 7 flights of stairs but do not worry, there are chambers were you can stop, admire the view and the exhibits (they change but are usualy lovely).A really cool thing is that you can see the mechanism of the tower's clock! The view from the top floor is great but prepare yourself - it will be really hot if you visit during summer! Even so, it is worth it.This is a must in Sibiu and it costs only 2 lei.
This is a great starting point for your tour of Sibiu. We were charged on 2Lei pp for the visit. You ascend a spiral staircase and there are a few levels where you can stop, witness the changing views as you climb higher, see paintings & photographs. The top level offers fantastic views of the immediate plazas & beyond to see the whole city & mountains beyond. This is certainly worth your time & money. It got very busy whilst we were there, so don't rush.
