kitee zoo

I have to say that Kitee Zoo is probably the most natural zoo we have ever been. We have been to some zoos where animals look so pathetic in their small cages that they should have been euthanized.In Kitee animals feel a quite relaxed and they are actually sort of interested in visitors (us). There were only 2 other visitors at that time, so plenty of space to observe the animals. There are also some impressive non-native species. The only animal we missed was european badger, but the cage looked like he had dug himself free. Great place vist and there is also a nice spa.

Kiteezoo is cozy, little zoo. There are only one route on which you can walk. Animal cages, which are pretty big, are located on side of this one road. This makes it very simple to follow. Selection of animals contains basic Finnish wildlife addes with few nice "aliens". Animals were very active and interested even there was darn hot day. Also there was couple animal cages where was leaves and branches left in front of it so that you can feed the animals.All in all, I recommend this place if you are around.

Много интересных животных и сама территория зоопарка понравилась. Честно говоря не ожидали, думали что будет небольшой такой деревенский зоопарк. Особенно понравился медведь.

Зоопарк небольшой по меркам большого города, но для данной местности он приличен. Много интересных животных. Всех животных хорошо видно, а это большой плюс для зоопарков с большими вольерами. Плюс рядом есть аквапарк в соседнем здании.
