In winter there are huskys and reindeer you can see and cuddle withThere is also a little tower to go up for there.The restaurant there is also nice, not expensive.

Depending on the weather of course, this beach can be also very nice in the winter. I was here in February 2015 on a beautiful sunny (but windy) day, we walked on the ice, had some nice coffee in the beach restaurant and went to the winter village. In this ´village´ you can pet huskys and reindeer and ride on snow scooters. It´s something that is build for children but I though it was also fun for young adults, especially the reindeer and huskys were adorable. There is one bus (no. 15) that goes here but the very little times a day, so check the timetable in advance.

I was there during summer time in oulu and did see the mid night sun at this beach... I mean there are very few places in this world where you get to see midnight sun yeah midnight sun ;) .. And that was just awesome..

This is a small beach with a great restaurant next to it. The restaurant was pretty, popular and the food was great.

Sand beach with good facilities to relax, play, catch some sun and even have dinner. Absolutely the place to be during hot summer days.

Very nice beach only few minutes away from downtown. There is several beach volley courts and one beach football court.

Have been there twice, want to visit again. Menu is simple, but food is fron nearby and tasty. Winelist is good. You can notice that they really want customers to enjoy Finnish delicatesses.

They have great facilities, better than any other beaches in town: several restaurants, a hotel, beach volley fields etc. You can even hire a jacuzzi at the renovated restaurant.

Very nice beach, 10min drive from downtown, with open sea in front of the beach. An ice cream cafe, cabins for changing clothes, a spa hotel and a restaurant right at the beach. Water clean. Sand good.

This must be one of Skandinavias best beaches and camping sites? A miniatyr santa Monica beach :-). Great for compello of families to visit.Stefan Seppänen

The beach is wide and full of life at least a couple of days ago. The amazing thing is that it is still warm and sunny at 20 on the beach. Restaurants, a long queau to the ice-cream kiosk. A lot of bikers - seems to be a habit there.

Beautiful beach - here you can swim but probably only in very hot weather. The beach is clean, the tracks are constantly cleaning. From the city are cycling and walking paths through bridges on this beach. A lot of people are engaged in health here. Sokos Hotel (which has a water park and spa) is located near the beach. Ends beach - Lighthouse.

La spiaggia è carina, pulita, curata, come tutto in Finlandia ( quante cose noi italiani avremo da imparare). Il bosco a due passi è una meraviglia, con i suoi punti ed i suoi sentieri che sfociano sul mare. Insieme ad un amico provai a tuffarmi il 20 settembre, la temperatura esterna era di 3°C.. Dopo qualche secondo non sentitvo più i piedi e cominciai a saltellare verso l'asciugamano più vicino, ma è un'esperienza da fare!P.s. Niente raffreddore dopo, basta farsi una bella sauna!

Praia inusitada, no inverno esta congelada e você caminha sobre a agua congelada. No verão peguei 30 graus Celcius, nadei, joguei vôlei e futebol. Tomar sorvete na praia no inverno é algo bem diferente para um brasileiro. A cidade possui ciclovia em toda sua extensão, vale a pena.

Ehkä paras ranta ikinä. Lasten kanssa täydellinen, ei ole äkkisyvä. Voi syödä vaikka kalaa tai sitten vaikka hampparia ihan rannassa. Keskustaan menee pyöräreitti eikä torille ole kuin kaks kilsaa matkaa ?
