Along the coast there are small harbours were the scenery is amazing, very quiet in March so no crowds makes the area tranquil and peaceful
Great coastal views and stop offs all the way down the coast at a leisurely pace. Great for a driving trip, car or motorbike along the coast.
Make the time to drive the route! or even just parts of it. Around every corner there is the most amazing scenery plus villages and hamlets! We drove some parts in horrendous wet, wild and windy weather and were still amazed. Obviously the better the weather the better the view, but don't be out off if the weather is inclement. It can change!
Just simply hire a car for the day, fill it up and drive this route. The views are quite simply stunning.Coming from the North East Of England, we have some stunning views in Northumberland, but these sights are unbeatable.
This route is the jewel in the town of Northern Ireland's roads. It is steeped in history and boasts some of the finest landscape that you will ever see. The sunsets and sunrises alone are breathtaking and the people you will meet along the way all offer stories and good old fashioned Irish craic! You won't be disappointed.
This route is most refreshing, serene and is a feast for tired eyes. The views of the mountains, sea and beautiful little villages and hamlets dotting the route are themselves a huge attraction to me and is already worth the journey. Beautiful and picturesque, you have to be there to appreciate as words cannot do justice to this beauty of nature!
some good views along the way and well worth the time taken to get to the Giant's causeway via this route
loved everything about it the only thing was we got 4 seasons in one day, but what else could we expect for Ireland, but we came prepared, sunglasses raincoats scarves and gloves :)
it was Gorgeous, and highly recommended wish we had more time in Port Rush and Port Stewart, but spent a ton of time at the causeway.
Northern Ireland coastal route is truly beautiful. If you can take a detour through the some of side roads, worth the drive
One of the nicest drives in the whole of Ireland..Take your time so you can take in all of the magnificent sites on route..
Taking this route is the only way to experience the beautiful coastline of Northern Ireland, we went from Belfast up to Giants Causeway and loved every minute of it.
Brilliant! Friends and I loved driving this route. It's well signposted and allows for absolutely stunning views of the coastline and the countryside. If you've got a car, it's a must do! We loved it!!
A must for GoT fans. Areas of the coast used for the TV series. Well worth a visit as the coast route is an area of outstanding beauty. In February it was cold and very breezy, so wrap up warm.
Beautiful scenery and lovely walks. A must see place to go if visiting Northern Ireland. The scenery will take your breath away.
