It was interesting to learn that people first renovated this old, bombed out church, but then had a ceremony of re-opening that included speeches and personages from both sides of Derry's disastrous difficulties, making efforts at reconciliation.

Guides welcome you to this church and are helpful and knowledgeable. It is tastefully renovated and is testament to the Congregation and their stickability in the face of so much trouble in that area over 30 years. This church is a little oasis of quiet in an otherwise busy place. When we were there we had William Loughlin sing for us, just like that, unaccompanied. He was wonderful and has been singing in the church choir for 72 years! What a joy it was to hear him sing. Pop in to the church when you visit Londonderry.

Mightn't be the first landmark that comes to mind when you think of visiting Derry, but it's a must-see! If you're lucky enough - as my group and I were - to have the Church's Minister (Rev David Latimer) there when you're visiting then your experience is made that much better.... Great energy and a first hand account of the deep history and current significance of the Church. The restoration job on this great building just has to be seen. On the Walls and surrounded by other significant landmarks, this is a place you just have to visit while in the Maiden City.

What a fine example of restoration at it's best words fail to express the simple but stunning word that was carried out to restore this unique example of an early Presbyterian church.Worth a visit to see how well the cost of refurbishment was carried out

Our choir performed in this Church about two weeks ago. One of our groupies, an engineer, saw a female ghost standing not far from him (upper level). It made for quite the excitement among all choir members.

I went to see the church on Monday of this week. It has been restored beautifully - I was fortunate the minister was on hand to guide and offer some of the background and share some amazing stories from the church. It should be considered a must on a tour of Derry.

Whilst on our tour we were very fortunate enough to bump into the Rev. Latimer, a very famous name here. I have yet to meet a person with more charisma than this man.!!

Hugely impressive building that's recently been given some TLC with a renovation that shows it off very well. You'll spot it from a walk on the city walls (especially if you get a local guide to give you the info on the more famous buildings you pass by on the walk). Its stature and graceful proportions may look imposing but it's still a welcoming place for worshippers on Sundays.

It was an exciting visit to be able to see this beautiful building restored. It has been many years since I had been their and it was wonderful to see how it have changed and renewed itself. We were greeted by a very friendly and interesting guide who was able to fill us in on lots of details that might escape the visitor who can't take everything in on the first viewing. It was nice to see the area at the side of the church which is laid out like a little personal museum, you can even pose as an old fashioned school master complete with gown and mortar. The stainglass windows are magnificent and well worth a visit.

This church was extensively damaged by petrol bombs and dry rot. It has been beautifully restored. The stained glass windows are quite colourful for a Presbyterian church. The exterior is also very impressive.

Architecture & History. We had coffee and scones served during a Fund Raising Coffee morning: Excellent

The Minister, David, is a charming man who is justifiably proud of his church. Possibly worth going to a service if you are there on a Sunday.

We were greeted so well by a lovely gentleman on arrival to the church on Thursday 22nd August 2013, he took the time to tell us alot about the history of the church and took time to enjoy a general chat with us and we also got a lovely solo from one of the male voice choir members who also took the time to talk to us and share some of his experiences of the church. We left feeling so touched at how friendly and welcoming they were. The building was beautiful we definitely recommend a visit:)
