The Alley is like a gem in Strabane! They have a variety of shows and events for everyone. The actual theater is not huge but it is a nice time out.The staff is so friendly and helpful. I can't imagine Strabane without the Alley. They even have a small restaurant and bar that is really nice.
I have personally performed twice now in this venue and have to say it is my absolute favourite venue to perform in. So professional and puts performers at ease as we have no concerns when it comes to this venue. Cannot wait to return in December.
I went to a jazz evening and found it relaxing with excellent musicians and it was fun with songs which were sung well. The ambience was relaxing and the staff were friendly. On a wet night and for just £8 each it was well worth it. In the front it had some tables and chairs and wine and beer were on sale along with tea and coffee and soft drinks crisps which were served with a smile. I would recommend it as it hosts various entertainment nights for differing tastes. The toilets were clean.
When visiting Strabane, we had lunch at the Alley...! Very good service and choice of food. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed a food very much. Well worth a visit.
When I came to see this event in 2012 I was part of a Music company wishing to run some parts of it on Internet tv.I was poorly treated and the communication was non existent. Needles to say, the show is poorly attended. In years gone by, it was a great event and we had great attendance. Not sure where it all went wrong, but treating your VIP's better is a start!
Been in here a couple of times, stsff are friendly and helpful. Sound is very good for pantomines, but not great for music.
Alley theatre is cosy yet spacious enough for a wide variety of entertainment. Every seat is a good seat in the auditorium. Pleasant atmosphere in the foyer/ bar area. Food in the cafe is good standard and well priced.
I live in England but had a weeks holiday in Strabane visiting family. We went to see Isla Grant in the Alley Theatre on 27th February 2013. What a brilliant night. I sang my heart out to her songs & got a signed CD & photo of me with Isla after the show.
Called in to The Alley Theatre restaurant one sat morning with 2 small children ordered hot choc and 2 breakfasts, place was spotless, bright, cheerful and mos helpful staff, warm and pleasant will def be back on our next shopping day
Great venue with a team that are really passionate about what they do. Working in the heart of their community to deliver art, entertainment and events.
Comfortable seats, the service at the bar is OK and the loos are clean. Generally a good variety of shows, would like more comedy/standup. Last time we went Rory Woods was supporting Colin Murphy- a good night. Parking behind the building.
Great for a concert and safe adn easy to park. Looking forward to going back
Good food, good staff, great modern theatre, a gem in a town that is clearly struggling through the recession.
